Very Tasty and Fresh!!!

I really like this restaurant. While searching for good and reasonably priced food for lunch, I came across Yu Shan a few months ago and haven't stopped going since!

Now that I've experienced the staples (e.g. Egg Foo Young, Shrimp Fried Rice, Hot & Sour Soup, etc.), I am ready to experiment with new dishes. Yep! the food is that good. I trust this place - very unassuming, pleasant staff, great prices & DELICIOUS FOOD!!!

I've had better chinese food from tv dinners. No taste to the meal whatsoever. Veggies overcooked. Overall really blah!

What the last reviewer wrote was dead-on. No question, this is easily the best takeout/delivery Chinese in Chicago. Generous amounts of fresh meat, fresh vegetables, superb spices/flavoring.. the only thing it has in common with typical takeout joints is the prices (although they do charge for delivery). Everything here is good, especially anything Szechuan.
