“Awful food, I cheeseburger appetizers taste like old hamburger meat, potroast nachos where greasy and hard, the banana pie taste like it was made with a box of banana pudding and nutri-grain crust, caesar salad was oily.”
“Order a Bloody Mary, and you'll get complimentary beer sidecar and a fresh shrimp skewer.”
“Plus, the food was delicious as well.”
“Wonderful menu w/great Bears memorabilia throughout the restaurant.”

“We decided to go back on Thursday to see John again - the waitresses in the lounge were so attentive and when we left on Wednesday they told us to come back on Thursday and they would remember us and they did!”
“We both found the food to be of top quality and our waiter Juan was great!”
“Great lunch with dinner sized portions.”
Loved it!!!. WOW!! What fun this place was!! Very cool to be in a place where Chicago's FAVORITE coach has been. Great food!! Fantastic Service!!! Of course, like everyone else I had the Pork chops!! The best ever!!
Da coach!. This is a fun place to go catch a game for any sports fan, especially, Da Bears! Go, eat, have fun and maybe even meet the coach...
A must if you're in Chicago!. I'm from Los Angeles and recently went to Ditka's while on vacation. The restaurant is nice and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The best part was I got to meet the coach while I was there! He came in for a drink with his wife and I went up to him and asked if I could get a picture. He was really nice about it!!! Plus, the food was delicious as well. If you are going to be in Chicago, as I was, then I definitely recommend dropping by. You might even get to meet the coach!
Delicious Ribs and Steaks.
I live in Wisconsin and we frequent Chicago at least once a month (my husband and I grew up there). My husband surprise me for my birthday (the day after Thanksgiving) and we ate at Ditka's for the first time and the food was very good. We both found the food to be of top quality and our waiter Juan was great! I had the fillet Mignon and Crab Bisque, both was Delicious. My husband had the Ribs and they were some of the best we've tried and I cook very well. My only complaint would be to add larger crab pieces in the bisque. The bread was very tasty.
We will come again and tell all our family and friends.
Ditka vs Food...Ditka. Before the food or the drink I need to talk about Ditka. Right when I walked in Mike Ditka himself was standing there. I had the pleasure of meeting him and his was very approachable. The waiter said that he comes in almost everyday during the week, but not the weekends. Anway, the steak was top notch. I really enjoyed the crab bisque, but would have liked some actual chunks on meat in there. I also enjoyed Ditka's Beer, it tasted like a pale ale but im not sure. Next time I visit I want to go for lunch and try the #1 Burger.
just good. I thought the food was great and well cooked, I will go again & tell others. I did enjoy the friday night crowd.
Best Ribs I have ever had!.
The BBQ baby back ribs were unbelievable. The service was top notch, the sides are excellent (great fries), and the bread basket was a surprising highlight as well. I have also tasted the roasted chicken, which is delicious as well. Prices were reasonable, and actually a great value considering the quality. ($15+ for the main course; ribs = $22, chicken = $16). Serving size is big! A load of (some fantastic) fries with the ribs that could have fed 3 people, and all the gormet bread you want.
The atmosphere in the dining room has dim lighting and is great for business or romance. It has an upscale feel. For a more casual experience, you can eat in the bar area. Located just off the Magnificent Mile (you can see it from N Michigan), you can't beat this spot. A GREAT restaurant, and the highlight of my recent Chicago trip.
top notch.
been there twice. once the coach was there signing his book. Last week was there I think I saw that party that one reviewer mentioned. The staff handled it wonderfully. I got the steak once and the burger once. No words to discribe the meal. How about this......... in heaven? The waiter had to nearly bring me back to earth.
One bad feature though. No olive oil. Can you believe it? Even the waiters were shocked. They said they would tell Mike. How about it Mike? No restaurant is complete without a fine olive oil for dipping the bread and drizzling on the finer soups and such. Oh yeah, we bought some momentos as well. They have the cutest plates for sale too. Ill be back in Chicago again next month. I will go.
Great Service.
Great Service
Great Pork Chop
I arrived early for reservation. With me was a 14 year old, so we could not wait in the bar. The staff found us a place where we could be comfortable. The staff in all areas that I could see was top notch.
Food was excellent. Pork Chop was huge and perfectly presented.
The only negative was the tables are a little to close together.
Great time. I've had the pleasure of dining at Ditka's several times - excellent food all the way around. The salmon melts in your mouth - not overcooked, very flavorful sauce. Make sure to get the potroast nachos, they are the best!
