It's the best view in the entire city, and The Signature Room actually has good food. Make sure to try the trio of duck.

Fun to come back here as a regular Chicagoan for the beautiful views you never tire of. Not a fan of all the food, but best bets are the raw platters with oyster and lobster, fois gras and pâté (off menu) and scallops. And wine.

Come here for the cocktails & stay for the view. Way cheaper than the observatory deck. Ladies bring your cameras to the restroom. Trust me.

Good lunch buffet - Great View!. Locals - On a beautiful, clear day...try the lunch buffet. At $18.00 for all you can eat, you won't break the bank and the view is tremendous! Great fun for a special occasion or business lunch.

Very Exquisite Venue. Absolutely love and appreciate the Signature Room! It seems to whisk you away into a high-landing fairytale while dining on the 95th floor of the Hancock Building. The restaurant overlooks Chicago's great skyline, as it is the neighbor to many notable skycrapers. Pricey, very pricey, but the food, the ambience, the intimate setting, the convenience presented to the patrons, is all worth it. Upscale, sleek, and urbane place to enjoy the company of one or more.

Great Service and perfect view. I was thinking about not going due to all the bad reviews from people. I went for my anniversary , I made reservations about a week ahead and they asked me if there was any special ocassion and I told them yes. It was on a saturday night, we got there about 30 min late and as soon as we got there we got seated no waiting (and it was sweeties day) They gave us a window seat towards navy pier, so at 9:00 pm we got to see the fireworks, The service was perfect and the food was real good, The price's are alright depending on what u get they start from $20.00 and the dishes are a good portion I had the NY strip with mash and it stuff me up. Then the cheef sent my wife a fruit cocktail with a chocolate writing that read "Happy Anniversary" at no charge. The View is beatifull and the service is great. Note that there is a dress code. Shirt and slacks, Tie is optional. Great place 5 stars all the way

Barely worth it. Went for lunch and were able to get a window table. The view is as great as you would expect. The service and food, however, are average. We had to ask for drink refills and they were not timely - at $3.50 for a soda in a Collins glass you are going to want at least one refill! We went with the buffet as none of the lunch entrees seemed remarkable. The buffet food was OK but I would expect a larger selection for the price, as well as at least one hot vegetable. There were a lot of families (the American Girl store is across the street) so it was a little noisy and less romantic than we expected.

amazing view. Food and view were both very good. Service was a little different. We had to ask for refills on drinks and when we did, there was a ten minute wait before we received it. We felt that you don't get the right amount of attention for a $250 dinner. Because of the amazing view and pretty good food we would go back. We were also a little disappointed that after spending that much money we thought we would be able to get in at the lounge, but the person running the line to get into the 96th floor lounge was very rude and acted more like a bounce of a night club rather than a person from a nice restaurant.

Amazing Restaurant, Alright Food. I took my girlfriend here as a surprise to end a trip to Chicago. I made reservations for 8PM(Because sunset was listed for 8:15, but things don't get dark until about 9). To get there you take an express elevator which takes probably less than a minute to scale 95 floors(Your ears definitely pop!). When you get there, you're greeted with the most spectacular view of the city you could ever hope for. I got there 30 minutes early because I wanted to request a south window seat early(The view of the city which has the skyscrapers, lake, Navy Pier, etc) and you are NOT able to request a table with your reservations, meaning that we had to wait for one. At 8 the server said that it could be over an hour before we were seated, but amazingly at 8:30 he called our name and gave us an amazing table. The service here was impeccable, the only issue is that the servers did not seem very personal at all. We were served by about 3 or 4 different people, none of which introduced themselves, and they seemed to serve the section as a group, as several people got their dessert, checks, etc all at once. We ordered almost all of the vegetarian selections on the menu, the appetizer was a mushroom strudel with goat cheese and truffle which was delicious, even though I don't like mushrooms! It was also very well presented. The main courses were a different story. I ordered the grilled eggplant which was drenched in a sauce which didn't taste very good and didn't feel like it was cooked amazingly well(It was, however, well-presented). My girlfriend got pasta primavera which was delicious, but it didn't seem to be anything you couldn't find elsewhere. The desserts were well-priced, she got the creme brulee which was about what you would expect, and delicious. The atmosphere well makes up for all of this, it is a sight that cannot be captured in the photos.

outsanding. My husband took me there for our anniversary. The atmosphere is very elegant and classy. My husband made reservations beforehand to get a table by a window. If you want good seats, I suggest you make reservations beforehand. The view is amazing. You get great food and a one of a kind view at the same time. The service was great. Our waiter did not rush us. He took his time and checked if we needed anything. The food was also fabulous!

Classless. While the Signature Lounge might have some appeal to tourists who have never been to a big city and are excited to be on such a high floor with nice views, it is a complete fraud for all others.

You wait on a line expecting to be brought up to a nice, classy establishment with a view. When you get up there, you feel like youre in a cheap casino or a waiting room at a VFW hall. Not only this, but people hop tables like animals trying to get closer to the windows so they can actually see the view. I brought my fiance here and quite frankly was embarrassed. Places like this in other cities actually plan and design so they are worth the inflated drink places, but the Signature Lounge is happy to just take your money. Poor reflection on the Hancock Building and Chicago in general. Don't waste your time, trust me.

Poor service, very rude.... Terrible Service. Sorely disappointed.

I am from LA and made a reservation for my birthday. I changed my dinner reservation to drinks which I told the person over the phone. When I got there at 10:30 PM, even though they had seats, they wanted to kick us out since we were only ordering desserts. I told them that I would order many desserts to make it up. No cigar. Asked them to make an exception for my birthday which was that night. No.. Just terrible how people can treat others. Literally left that moment. Felt completely horrible and just left a bad taste in my mouth since there were no other patrons waiting for dinner and they just wanted to kick us out on a technicality of not ordering dinner.
