Up two flights of stairs, around a bend, and down a corridor, the cramped space is little more than a magazine-stocked waiting area, a jury-rigged dressing room, and a few mirrors. Customers come and go, exchanging cheek kisses with Boguslaw, the larger-than-life owner. The tailoring experience is mostly hands off, as "Bogus'" professional opinion is what counts. Stand at attention while he pins, tugs and admires, and then come back with cash or a check on the date on your stubb--no exceptions!

Boguslaw has an amazing eye and great taste both of which I trust implicitly. He re-modeled two old Dolce and Gabbana coats of mine - one fake fur which was very top heavy with a huge shawl collar. I hadn't worn it in a long time. Since he re-made them both - I have two new coats which I wear all the time. I highly recommend Boguslaw.
