Worst salon in the city. I am so thankful that Diana and Shelley are no longer at Trio

When Philip was on vacation I had to go to Diana and she was awful. She books 5 clients an hour and does a full highlight in 15 min. using only bleach. Her highlighting is like a frost job like from the 70's.

Even the people who shampoo hair laugh at Diana's work.

I think that Maxine's took all the losers from Alex at Trio.

Blue and Reese are a dynamic duo!!!. These guys really know how to make a girl feel as beautiful as they can make her look! I have never been so happy with my hair until Reese began cutting it. He knows how to layer longer hair without chopping it to shreds and it's never been easier for me to do at home. Blue does my color, and I can't even tell you how natural and healthy my hair looks, a difficult feat for someone with long, blonde-highlighted hair. I will never see anyone else again, because these guys just "get" it.

How to get great hair!. I cannot say enough good things about Tina Deeke - not only has she brought my hair back to shiny, glossy condition, but Tina has the most amazing eye for skin tone and color. I have been through single process browns to highlighted warm toffees with smooth dashes of caramel. Every time Tina got the tone just right for my skin and eyes. She truly is a find! One of Tina's secrets is that she tells you honestly what is possible and what wouldn't work. So she listens to her clients but makes sure they profit from her expertise to find the solution that achieves what they want but within a natural range.

Maxine runs one of the best salons in Chicago. Technically, the staff is among the best trained in the country. They are always off to national and international events to learn the latest. And Maxine is a test salon for Kerastase, first out with the latest innovations. The support staff is wonderful and the service is personal, cheerful and flexible.

If Maxine was in NY you would need a waiting list to get in! We are lucky to have them in Chicago. When we lived in California I would go back to Chicago for haircuts with Bob and I have girlfriends from Boston and San Francisco who plan their flights so they may stop-over in O'hare and make a quick dash to Maxine.

wonderful place. I have been a client for 6 years. I am extremely picky about my hair, especially color... My colorist always gets it right, perfect highlights every time. I highly recommend Tina or Brooke for highlights, these two are amazing.

great up-do's. Over the past few years I have been in SEVERAL weddings and have had SEVERAL awful up-do's. But, the girls at Maxine did such a great job with the wedding I was in. Becca, Elizabeth, Bridget and Adrianne made sure we all were looking fabulous and I don't think a single hair moved out of place the whole night! We all will definitely back as regulars!!! Thanks girls!!

nice place, ok haircut. A friend of mine recommended this place since I needed a quick trim and my regular stylist is in NYC. I wanted to get the appointment with Adrianne, but unfortunately she was out, so I got Bridgitte. I asked to have 2 inches trimmed off the ends, ended up with 3+ inches shorter hair. I basically went from having long hair to having mid-length hair. Not what I asked for.

The place is nice and clean and tea/coffee that is served is a nice touch but I am afraid I won't be going back. At least not for a haircut to Bridgette.

Josh and Patricia are the BEST. I have been seeing Josh for my highlights and Patricia for my cuts for almost 2 years and I have never been disappointed. When you walk into the salon you are greeted by very friendly staff who direct you towards a room where you can put your coats and other belongings. You are then directed towards the comfortable waiting area where they provide coffee, tea, water, etc. and good magazines to read. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes for my stylists. Both of the stylists I see are very professional. Josh is extremely sweet and friendly. When I give him an idea of how I want my hair to look he always listens intently and gives me exactly what I was hoping for. Now when I go and see him I just ask him to to do something that would look good and it always turns out perfectly. Patricia is very talented and fun. I have never been disappointed by my haircuts, they are always perfectly executed and they look great with my type of hair. I went in one time hoping for a cut that would be fun and easy to take care of, and she went above and beyond my expectations. Maxine salon is very versatile, everyone will have a great experience!

Patricia - wonderful stylist. I highly recommend Patricia at Maxine for a haircut. She is a wonderful stylist and can assist you with getting the best haircut for your hair type and face shape.

Josh made my color never look better. Josh makes my hair look beautiful and natural, I have never got so many compliments on my hair before. Im going to send all my girlfriends to him, so they can enjoy his great talent and sweet southern attitude. The salon itself has a great design and atmosphere.
