"As a Regional Director of multiple locations in the salon and spa industry one of the biggest request from stylist for further training and education. At the time that Alex came out I had a team that was demotivated, unenchanted and quite frankly on the verge of walk out. I met Alex many years prior when the company I worked for utilize his expertise to launch a training program for them.

I expected that I would get a great cutting class. What I got was so much more. Alex took the time to speak with me prior to the class and ask very pointed questions concerning my team. Not only did he want to know where they were technically but also mentally. He wanted to know what my desired result would be after the class. It was a pleasure to watch Alex work with my team enhancing their cutting and styling techniques. However even more impressive was his ability to ask them thought provoking questions that got them coming up with solutions and having dialogue about ways in which they could better their business. He left the staff feeling inspired and excited about their craft again."

I had an amazing experience at TRIO Salon yesterday! I came into the salon as a panicked customer that needed serious help with a color disaster, and I left the salon calm with a huge smile on my face! I owe this all to Elea, my colorist. She was absolutely amazing in taking all the time in the world to do everything necessary to get me looking not only back to normal but beautiful. I have already received several compliments about my color and it has only been 24 hours. Elea was so comforting, answering all of my questions and talking me through every step along the way.

In addition to Elea's impressive work...several other staff members took interest in my color project, often stopping by to ask how things were going, offer me water, coffee, tea or anything that would make my experience more enjoyable.

This was my first visit to Trio, but it felt as though I was part of their family. I will certainly be going back to TRIO and Elea will be my colorist from here on out!!!

Go visit Ramsey for a great haircut. I was in from out of town and was fortunate enough that Ramsey was available and able to cut my hair right away. Awesome Job. She took the time to show me how to style my hair as she was blow drying it. I'll be back when I'm back in Chicago!

Vanessa Wyllie- highly recommend!. My friend got her hair colored at Trio Salon by Vanessa and I absolutely loved it; so I had to try it out! I live about 45 minutes away, but I was in the city for an event and made an appointment to have Vanessa color my hair. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to my hair, so I was a little nervous having someone new color it. She was very friendly and listened as I explained my hair color concerns. I have dark brown hair and have been getting blonde highlights for the past year. I have tried numerous salons before finding out about Trio Salon.

I have to say this was the BEST my hair has ever looked. I didn't know that my hair could actually turn out how it did. I loved the color she used, and the way she highlighted it. I have no idea how to do hair, but I do know there are different techniques in the way people foil. Vanessa took the time and it turned out great. I was extremely happy and I had to call and thank her. I also wanted to write this review, so other people could experience a good quality hair color as I did. I will definitely be coming here from now on. I highly highly recommend her.

Stylist Kim S. - extremely recommended. I have been going to Kim S. for almost 2 years now and couldn't be happier. I bounced around to a lot of places looking for a quality haircut and didn't think the search would have gone on as long as it did in a city as large as Chicago. However, I'm glad that I won't have to search any further. Not only is Kim attentive, friendly, and funny but you can tell she's a master of her craft. She has great insight and will always spend that little extra time to make sure that I walk out of there a happy customer. A couple years ago, it was a chore to find a decent haircut, now that I am with Kim, I look forward to every appointment.

Amazing. I live an hour away from the city, and have made the trip to see Jimmy since 1999 ~ and never regret it! I recently decided to update my hair from shoulder length to SHORT. I was a quite nervous, but Jimmy made me comfortable with my decision and took it a little at a time. I LOVE IT!!!

The staff is super friendly and is very open about giving advice. I think I met everyone working that day! Nothing intimidating about this Gold Coast salon.

5 years and counting.... I have been seeing Rosalind/Roz Ruoti at Trio for 5 years now. She is an amazing stylist. I wear my hair very short and she always give me a creative haircut! She is awesome!

From New York to Chicago!!!. Rosalind Ruoti has been my stylist in NY at Salon O2 for the last 4 years. I have recently moved to Chicago and i'm so glad that she is here. She is the best short hair stylist. I get compliments constantly! I love Roz!

Please go here!. So, I heard about this salon from a girlfriend and decided to give it a try. She got a coloring, and a trim and it was stunning! Needless to say, I ended up going to the woman that cut her hair, Roz. She was very upbeat, and knew a lot about hair. I was amazed at the quality of her work, and shall return, only if I can keep up with paying my other bills!! :)
