I've been coming to XEX for almost a year, and I'm in love. I've gone to David at least half a dozen times, and he always does an incredible job. I've had short hair for a long time, but at XEX I got an asymmetrical cut last fall and was so nervous, but David quickly calmed my nerves and gave me a fantastic cut. Never have I received so many compliments on my hair! Since then, I've come in with a basic idea of what I want and I have all the faith in him to make me look great.

Something else I love about XEX is the deals. The prices are very reasonable for the quality styles I have received, and they do everything they can to make them even more so. As a college student, I automatically receive a discount which is always so helpful! And if you refer a new client, you and your friend get 50% off. Unbeatable! I've probably referred at least four of my friends because of the great experience I've had. I've never paid full price for a haircut.

Customer service here is amazing. The salon itself is beautiful. Overall, a quality experience for reasonable, affordable prices.

David's out of town and I need a haircut, so I'm going to Nina today! I'll definitely come back and add to my review to see how it goes!

Best Salon in Town. I've been living in Chicago for 7 motnhs, and I finally found my salon home. Calling this salon was very pleasurable, the receptionist was very friendly and patient.

I walked into this salon, the energy was great, the receptionist greeted me, just like he did over phone, which made me feel great. My appointment was with Megan and Nina. I received highlights when I first moved to Chicago, and I hated them. I expressed my concerns to Megan, let her know that I was looking for some natural looking color. And she gave me just that, very natural looking hightlights. My hair was a little damaged from my last experience. Megan noticed and gave me a complmentary conditioning treatment. Then Nina gave me a very textured haircut. I left feelling like a Million bucks. This was a great experience, and I will definitely be back.

Highlights. I found this place more out of Convenience than anything else since I work in the LeoBurnett Building, that being said I decided to give this place a try. I've been there two times and always got great cuts. David has been the person cutting my hair and he is pretty awesome. Over the weekend I decided to have my Highlights refreshened from Amanda, she did an awesome job! XEX has a great vibe, we always start on time, and I always feel well taken care of. If you are looking for a new salon in Chicago , XEX is the place to visit.

Haircut. My stylist TJ is the bestest stylist ever. EVER. I love going into the salon every 7 weeks for my usual cut. TJ never lets me down!

The salon is a great open space! The other stylists are very friendly. Everyone will ask if you would like a beverage, including wine, champagne and even beer!!

By far, one the best salon's I've ever visited. I've recommended numerous friends to my stylist, along with the actual salon itself and they absolutely luv it too. If you recommend a friend to salon, a lovely discount will follow. Definitely one of the best salons in Chicago!

Style. I visited XEX for the first time for a wash and style with John. He was amazing, he brought back to life my dry, brittle over processed hair. Originally I booked an appointment for only a haircut, but the salon was so welcomiing and fun. I decided to pamper myself with a Mani/Pedi. The mani/pedi with Lena was fantastic and stayed longer than any other. The pricing is very reasonable for being in the loop.

The salon has great energy, fun staff. It was very refreshing to be in this environment. You can tell that this place prides themselves on building customer relationships. I'm so glad that I found this salon!

Mani/Pedi & Haircut. I purchased a Groupon for a Mani/Pedi from XEX. The nail technician did an amazing job. While I was there I booked a haircut appointment, just from watching the great work that was leaving out the salon.

Amanda was my stylist, she listened to I wanted, provided great styling tips. Amanda explained the best products to use in my hair. I loved the fact, that she didn't try to push the products on me.

XEX is great, all of the staff was friendly. The salon is beautiful. I will definitely visit again!!

Haircut. I just had my second visit to XEX Hair Salon, and received the another great haircut from Keara. She is really good, my last haircut grew out perfectly. The staff at the salon is great. The energy in XEX is very welcoming. I left salon feeling great for the second time. Very satisfied with this salon.

Extensions. I visited the salon last week for the first time to get extensions, and from the initial booking when I called, after reading other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was warm and friendly.

My stylist Georgia was phenomenal! I was a little nervous about getting extensions for the first time at a new salon. Georgia gave me a great consultation, after the consultation I knew that I was in good hands. She matched the hair perfectly to my orginal hair color, and blended the hair very well. My hair looks so natural, and great. I have received several compliments after leaving the salon. The pricing for extension are very reasonable, especially being a salon located in the Chicago loop.

Haircut. Just got my hair done by David from XEX for the second time. I have had many stylist try to manage my long thick hair. I must say that David at XEX has mastered it. He cuts perfect layers in my hair, I am very pleased to have found this salon.

My hair looks great. I will definitely return to this salon.

In addition, everyone at the salon is friendly and down to earth. The salon has great energy & pricing is very reasonable.

Mani/Pedi. I just received an amazing mani/pedi from Lena at XEX. I purchased a groupon, and I am very pleased that I did. Lena was amazing, she was kind and personable. Listened to me rant and rave, about a horrible nail experience that I had. Advised me the proper way to take care of my nails inbetween mani/pedi's. I am extremely satisfied!!
