“They should be ashamed of their poor service.”
“Great price; great service!”
A pet salon where they actually know how to handle pets. I found Paradise Pet Salon through a google search about six years ago, after being turned away by both Petsmart and The Barking Lot (on Irving Park Road) because my mini poodle was supposedly "aggressive and too hard to handle." After two bad experiences elsewhere, I was wary about taking my dog anywhere for grooming, and I warned the receptionist at Paradise, "he tends to be nippy." But you can tell the women who work at Paradise know how to treat animals and how to calm them down. Rather than strap my dog immediately into a muzzle, they picked him up and cooed at him and petted him for a few minutes and got him to relax. When I picked him up later that day, I got a good report - no biting or aggression whatsoever - and he looked so much better than he did after previous grooming sessions; the cut was so much cleaner. I have been taking my mini poodle and my bassett hound to Paradise ever since. With the friendly service and the reasonable prices ($45 for a full grooming and $8 for just nails), I don't even mind driving all the way from Kimball/Foster to Irving/Broadway and back twice in one day.
FROM A PET LOVER!.
Well I had to review my own business cause I consider that 7 bad things in 15 years is not that bad. People have their good and bad days and we all make mistakes hoping to find a solution to all problems.
These are live being thats sometimes we can't even compare to a little child having his first haircut .
(I will encourage my loyal clients to add a sincere review of what you feel about me and my store.)
With that said ,you will see what difference it will make.
and please! if you are looking for a great humane groomer. come to my store and give me the benefit of the doubt ,and give me and my store a second chance.
I will see you all here!!
Don't Go!. They cut up my cat after giving her a lion cut, and I had to take her to the vet because the cuts got infected. They also routinely left her on the floor with roaming, barking dogs even though I told them she is afraid of dogs and asked them to take her off the floor. They also didn't honor appointment times and she would be there forever--you can't do that to a cat, with no water and no potty break!
Nastiest Owner in History. I took my dog here and after injuring one of the dogs the owner refused to refund the grooming bill (her grooming was ruined from the bleeding) and yelled at me. This place is deplorable. For the sake or your dog do NOT go here.
When I went to pick up my two puppies from their appointment one of them had a 3 in. by 6 in. razor buzz down to the skin in the middle of his back. There was also another smaller gouge closer to the puppy's neck. Apparently they forgot to put the guard on the razor's edge. I was given a 10 dollar discount.
The original reason that I brought my two puppies to paradise pet salon was because they informed me that they express the dog's glands. When I got the dogs home they were still scooting so I brought them to the vet who informed me that the groomers did not express the glands of either dog. I had to pay another 50 dollars for a service that I paid paradise pet salon to complete. Both of my dogs got very ill because the glands had not been taken care of immediately. They should be ashamed of their poor service. Not only was it overpriced but they cannot be trusted with the well being of the animals.
Great price; great service!. I recently moved to the city and have taken my dog, Socrates, to three different salon/boutiques before I found Paradise. The name says it all! My dog was VERY relaxed and happy and the staff was very friendly, the owner really knows her business! Socrates was not happy with what I was feeding him, so the owner of Paradise recommended a few very good brands and now my dog is happy and healthy, and VERY beautiful thanks to the great groomers at Paradise. I would not go anywhere else for grooming or pet supplies, their boutique (right around the corner from the grooming) is so cute and full of good things for Socrates!
I dont believe there website, I read it through before I went there and It is untrue. Very unprofessional. And totally disappointing. I felt bad for my pet for taking him there.
Unprofessional service. Unskilled labor
