If you want a secret Chicago health food store that sells organic chocolate and all kinds of candies and treats that are sweet *and* healthy, then Kramer's is for you. Not fancy, but always filled with the best customer service in the city, it's one of my favorite health food stops for organic goodness.

Tips for Kramer's Health Food Shoppe

Nice option, but DEADLY dull. Apparently they just don't get that "soup of the day" means (or should) that there is some variety in the menu..... I would eat here more often, but EVERY DAY for the past two weeks the soup/s have been NAVY BEAN and SPLIT PEA. What about a nice garlic soup, a nice French Onion, a veggie noodle?

The staff make this the best health food store in Chicago. The staff (Ken, GD, and Lee) are extremely knowledgeable on health issues and natural remedies. Give them a try. They always recommend the right stuff. I've been going to Kramer's for years and it's better now than ever. Over the years I've been in to Kramer's 3 times with issues that could have easily warranted a doctor's visit. They were able to recommend effective remedies all 3 times. Give 'em a shot!
