wwh. Byron's is only challenged by Bill's Hot Dog Stand, an Evanston legend just north of Howard St. on Asbury (Western) and Home Depot/North Avenue. Dog Lovers can't beat these 3 locations for the best in the city...unless you're in Wrigley and the Cubs are winning!

A garden on a bun. That was, may still be, their motto. Byron's is the place I dream of whenever I consider having a hot dog. I live in the burbs now and Byron's is one of the joints I miss the most!

A Must for Hamburger Lovers. Byron's has one of the best hamburgers in the Chicago area! Great service at a "no-frills" joint.

chicago's only dog. the only true chicago dog can be found here!!!! right down to outside seating, salads, celery salt, and hot peppers on the dog. Will be the only place you will yearn to eat a hot dog.

Great Dogs!!. If you are visiting Wrigley Field this should be a stop, before or after a game. This place is for anyone who has never had a "Chicago dog". The hot dog is grilled to perfection and then they add a salad on top of the hot dog. Not a place for the dainty eaters! Fries are a bit greasy, but worth it with the dog! Definetly a place I would go again and tell friends!!

Great dogs!. This makes a nice stop on the way to or from Wrigley Field. The location is just far enough away from Wrigley that it won't be packed with fans pre- or post-game. Take the Red Line and get off at Sheridan and enjoy a dog, then hike back down to Wrigley. The Chicago Dog here is packed high with extras, but the dog is meaty, hot and fresh once you find your way to it.
