The Scene – Comfortable and tasteful, with a decor of exposed brick, tile floors and velvet curtains. It's quiet, but a buzzing neighborhood crowd fills the place later in the evenings. Service is smart and quick--a good thing for pre-theater types on the way to a show at the Music Box or Mercury Theater, about a quarter-mile south. – – The Food – A tasty, creative fusion menu delivers endive salad (with apples, pecans and a nice blue-cheese tang) and ginger-and-scallion crab cakes (with a good, crumbly coating). Excellent food and service

I have eaten at Deleece several times and every time has been better than the last. The food is tasty and innovative and the restaurant itself is welcoming and trendy without trying too hard. This is the perfect friendly neighborhood place. Good for dates; good for groups of friends-- I can't recommend it highly enough.
- Pros: friendly service, delicious food, charming restaurant
- Cons: none
Great Dining Experience!

I tried Deleece for the first time last night and had an amazing time! Our server was great - she was super knowledgeable about the menu, wines and even the art hanging on the wall. We started with the potstickers and the sauce is so good you should keep it around after you've finished for dipping the bread! The butter lettuce salad was delicious, and the salmon and lamb were both wonderful dishes as well. I was very pleasantly surprised and can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!
- Pros: service, menu
- Cons: parking
Relaxing Atmosphere.
by izzywizzy at Citysearch
We discovered Deleece several months ago and have tried it for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. We truly enjoy the food and the overall relaxing atmosphere. My favorite is the lamb, cooked to perfection and enjoyed with the servers recommended Merlot which was excellent and a generous pour. The only lacking experience we had was when we sat outside. The service just didn't seem to equal that of inside seating. We were told there was some confusion about who's table it was. The server we lost due to "territory" is the one we wish we had.
However, despite this one occasion (we have asked for seating inside ever since) we truly do enjoy this pleasant neighbourhood restaurant.
