Editorial Review for D'Agostino's Wrigleyville – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
A few blocks west of Wrigley Field, this spot draws pre- and post-game crowds for hearty grub and welcoming service. Regulars talk sports at the dimly lit bar; beyond, the cheery dining room has big booths, red-checked tablecloths and a staff that seems to know most of the people in the joint. The menu features hearty American fare: Italian beef sandwiches, burgers, salads and pasta. But pizza is the specialty, served piping-hot and dripping with sweet sauce.

We like the pizza and the food here but our favorite part really is that the restaurant has a weekly kids night every Tuesday with a fantastic balloon guy named Smarty Pants. He is a totally riot and makes some amazing balloons for all the table. I have had to literally beg one of my sons to let his balloon tiger go after about three weeks of it sitting in his room. Smarty Panks you rock!!!

I bought a beef sandwich from D'Agostino's . I am shock the beef sandwich was not good i had to add some seasoning for me to have flavor. I thought italian beef sandwich suppose to have mozzarella cheese on it too. and the fries were salty. But i will not order a italian beef from here.

Cons: Home made italian beef sandwich
