The Scene
Think all gay men look like the cast of "Will & Grace"? Wake up and check out the burly, tattooed, leather-lovin' dudes at this dingy hangout. Tough-looking guys stake out a place at the bar in the front room, where gay porn flickers on a few monitors, and a pool table and pinball machine go mostly unused. Despite the rough crowd, staff is friendly and welcoming, even to the preppy types who occasionally stumble in for a peek around.
The Draw
If you're in uniform or wearing a major article of leather or latex clothing, you'll be allowed back to the Holding Cell, an even darker bar that's open Thursday through Sunday. And if you're feeling naughty, head out to the Yard, a meeting place complete with chain web, a narrow steel cage and more.

I am a Chicago resident, and I am here to tell you what every local knows here in Chicago: The Cell block is horrible! The alcohol is uses the berg system. Basically a computer controls how much alcohol you get in a drink, and it's not much. Anyone who lives in Chicago and knows REAL leather bars, knows Cell Block is a joke. The manager is a *** who roams around policing everyone, even for appropriate behavior. One man knelt down next to his Master, and the manager told them not to get "out of hand" even though both were fully dressed in leather. He's really alienated the community here. If you want a real leather bar experience in Chicago with hot guys of every age, GO ELSEWHERE, like Jackhammer, and their bar inside called the "hole." GO to Eagle or Touche, but what ever you do AVOID the cell block at all costs. It's a sorry excuse for a bar of any kind, period.
