The Scene
If men in tight Wranglers and cowboy boots are your thing--and you happen to be a fella yourself--you'll be in heaven at this boot-scootin' chain that also has locations in Denver and Phoenix.
The Draw
Laid-back and relaxed, Charlie's is a fun place to come, even if you don't like country music, and especially if you're looking for some place to dance late-night; every evening that the bar is open after 2am, the Western tunes are traded for popular mainstream dance hits. The large dance floor also hosts free dance lessons--learn to two-step or shake your thang the cowboy way at 7:30pm Mondays and Wednesdays. A full bar turns out something for everyone.

This is a very good place for karaoke in a rather low-key and unpretentious atmosphere. The crowd is supportive, sometimes even attentive, and will clap for you even if you don't have a good voice. The bar recently developed its own new-and-improved karaoke system with lyrics on the TV monitors, better software, and more songs. The KJs are still learning the new system so it's not perfect yet, but it's still a great place to sing some songs. Karaoke starts at 8:30 on Sundays and 9:30 on Tuesdays.
Pros: Karaoke can't be beat
Cons: None

This is a great place for the partier that likes to go into the wee hours of the morning, I like it except by the time I get here I'm tiered and probably drunk, everyone is falling all over the place and the bathrooms are filthy so never go in there, just go in the corner... j/k fun place!
Pros: late night dancing, drinks
Cons: smoke machine, VERY crowded
