You'll do the time warp at this Wrigleyville vintage shop specializing in Sonny and Cher-era collectibles..
The Scene
Housed in a dingy old building that was once, among other things, a barbershop, Yesterday is Geek Central for trivia buffs. Crammed mostly with '70s paraphernalia (all legal), it's as if Carol and Mike let the Brady kids have a yard sale. Don't be afraid of the life-size cardboard cut out of Doctor Who; it's as fake as the show's special effects.
The Goods
The shop is jammed with old comic books, valuable baseball cards (molar-breaking gum intact) and enough sci-fi junk for a Star Trek convention. Old lunchboxes from when Eric Estrada was king line dusty shelves alongside that McGovern '72 campaign pin you've been looking for. You can find current movie posters, but it's more fun to pull out the old ones to ask the puzzling question, "Did anyone ever actually see Ishtar?"
