MOLD! PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE!. This restaurant recently had the walls behind their stoves replaced due to mold. Unfortunately, they chose to stay open while the walls were sprayed with a highly toxic mold killer and then replaced the walls at night while they were closed and reopened the very next morning! There were no permits for the work and it was not done by professional/licensed mold specialists. Therefore, there was no inspection!!!!!
Best Chinese in Chicago. Best Chinese Food in the Midwest! My husband and I searched high and low for a great chinese restaurant in Chicago. We are from the East Coast where the chinese food is delicious. We have turned all of our friends onto this restaurant. If you loved chinese, you will love this place.
Not mindblowing, but not horrible. I've only ordered from this restaurant once (very plain order, I know): Beef with Broccoli, Hot and Sour Soup and side of egg fried rice. Everything was tasty, warm and satisfied my immediate cravings for Chinese food. They have really great sized portions, and quick delivery which as a student - I appreciate. If I order again, I'll get everything except the fried rice - it was so dry and crispy!
Worst Customer Service.
The food there is decent; reminds me a lot of NYC style take-out. The service there is terrible. I can understand when a place is busy, but they should still be able to provide polite service and care about you.
I ordered delivery from there and the delivery guy wouldn't come up my stairs. I buzzed him in a few times and it wasn't until the FIFTH time I realized he just wasn't going to come up. When I asked him why he didn't come up, he said he didn't want to and shrugged it off. It couldn't have been because the buzzer wasn't working because my roommate tried the buzzer while I was downstairs and it worked. The door was also open when I reached the bottom landing.
I called in to complain about it and they said it makes sense because he was probably in a hurry and hung up on me.
I guess don't count on them to deliver food to your door if you have stairs.
