Electric Bills Ar High and They Raise The Rent Every Ye.
I lived there for a number of years. The electric bills are extremely high, like $150 per month for a 1 bedroom. I couple of reasons they are so high, maybe because the windows leak and because both
the heat and ac are provided by window units.
They used to compensate for this by having a little lower rent but now they are at like $1300 pr/mo plus the $150 per month electric bill and that makes it an expensive place to live for a 1 bedroom. Do yourself a favor and look at other places in the neighborhood and ask if heat is included, even if other places are $50 mor a month they will probably be cheaper in the long run because of the high electric bill at 65 East Scott.
In addition, they raise the rent every year like clockwork.…
You do NOT want to live there!. The staff will treat you like a guest when you are trying to find an apartment but will treat you like garbage after you moved in. They even will charge you for the days you don't live there after you move out!!!…
So happy to call this place home. I just moved in this summer from a condo building in Wrigleyville. I'm so happy I made the move! The management and all staff are very friendly. They address questions and problems the same day (usually immediately). Even though the building is on the old side, the common areas are very well-kept and my unit is very nice. For the amazing area, the rent is excellent. Only cons: the laundry room is out-dated and I wish they would have replaced the carpeting in the unit before I moved in!…
