Lizzie's is a great neighborhood bar, and the new outdoor patio is fantastic in the summer, but to the commenter who wrote of the new "chef" and "cuisine," that's way off. Based on the quality and selection of the food, I seriously doubt the "kitchen" amounts to much more than a fridge, microwave, and fryer. Get food somewhere else, then head to Lizzie's, but not if you're in a hurry -- the service is painfully slow.

Pros: Outdoor patio, location just outside of the loop

Cons: Food, service

The atmosphere was wonderful, one of the best Guinness pours in town. The new chef has put a twist on Irish cuisine which reminds me of small pubs in Ireland. Definately make the trip to catch the live music, great juke box and comfortable atmosphere.

Pros: inexpensive, clean, wonderful

Cons: parking
