Meet him and you'll be pleased....
I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Platis and his entire staff. They were all very helpful, knowledgeable, and available for questions.
I interviewed numerous top surgeons in the area before deciding on Dr. Platis. I am a very thorough, educated person who did my research. I know I've made a good decision with Dr. Platis.
I am posting a four because I am still recovering, which is going well! If it continues, I will update to five.
I would schedule a consultation to see for yourself!
Don't believe the BS in his bio. And it doesn't stand for Bio Science.. I am 5 2 and weighed 110 pounds at surgery. I was told I was the ideal liposuction patient. It's not meant for weight loss, but sculpture Dr. Platis said. He was my second consult. My initial consult was with a WELL respected Dr. and he said buttock lipo it difficult because it can create a double butt and for my size he didn't wouldn't recommend it. An ETHICAL and HONEST plastic surgeon. So, of course I I want a second opinion. I consulted Dr. Platis, who, of couse, said "Sure we can do it, no problem". It was a done deal 3 days later. I was very large for 2 weeks due to the swelling, I couldn't even fit into my "really fat jeans". I was concerned, but also assured I would be pleased once the swelling went down. I returned for my visit 6 months post surgery. I lost 7 pounds during the 3 months leading up to my appointment by working out 4 days a week once I was able to exercise again. On my follow up he tried to take credit saying I looked great. Wow, what are the odds of that coming out of his mouth. I was not happy, I didn't go down a single size in my clothes which the only reason I wanted surgery in the first place. It was a little larger than the rest of me. To that, he said my butt looked great and he would NOT be doing anything more for me. He then got hostile and left the room and made another appt 6 months later. Upon my return I was told there was nothing else to do, was saggy the look he was going for? If so, I would have passed. I'm not disputing the fact that I had surgery, I had bruising, pain and $5000 less in my bank account to prove it. I guess I was NOT the ideal canditate afterall. Either I wasn't large enough for him to do surgery or he did a bad job and needs to fine turn. Which he said he does at times. I now have my grandma's saggy 72 year old butt. Can I trade up for her beautiful smile or her need to give to every charity that calls on her. Where do you find "double butted" jeans? I looked at Barney's, I've got nothing? Call me
Not Helpful advise: If you went to a WELL respected, ETHICAL and HONEST doctor, why did you jump the gun at what Dr. Platis said, even though you had been recommended against it .That would raise a red flag and I would have gone and gotten a 3rd opinion, logical. "a done deal", you make it sound like you were forced. Overall this is your opinion and experience. Full disclosure, Dr. Platis is a good friend of mine and is the most ethical and honest man I know both personally and professionally.
