Owned by coffee-savvy Seattleites (hence "Emerald City," the city's nickname), this homey Lakeview coffeehouse features a couch, a handful of tables, sunlight streaming through large windows and a piano and guitar for impromptu performances. The coffee is hot, fresh and reasonably priced, as are the sandwiches and pastries. Popular morning selections include muffins and scones; at lunch, sweets give way to toasted grinders like the Cubby, piled with honey ham and Swiss.

Buy Local. It's great to keep the real neighborhood feel in Wrigley by supporting local mom & pop shops. This place has a egg bagel sandwich that is like no other! They have a large selection of syrups for coffee drinkers that don't actually like the taste of coffee.
