After promising the world at our walk-through, Merry Maids cleaned about half of our apartment the first time they came. After we brought this up with them, they assured us that the second time would be much better. It wasn't. We came home to find our furniture completely moved, the floors not cleaned and almost nothing dusted. The worst part however is that they locked our cat in a bedroom with no litter box, food or water and did not let her out when they were finished. She was locked in the room for 8 hours because of this incompetent company. When I finally got ahold of a manager, they were very apologetic and refunded our second cleaning. Hopefully, this was an isolated incidence, as other reviews I've read have been mostly positive.

better than most

Merry maids service was better than most maid services. We have a large condo and they would send 2-3 mads to clean it. They had assignment sheets for what to clean. They did return at no charge if there were problems.

The consistency suffered after a while with maids not showing or showing up after 5 pm. at times, maids scheduled for the morning would come in the afternoon. A lot of the maids did not speak english and this was hard when trying to give instructions. I am trying others, but so far, with the service out there, this is one of the better ones.

• Cons: lot of non -english speakers, not dependable
