Terrible Wax. I've had a lot of waxes, but the worst brazilian wax by far was at Mitazi. It was extremely painful - she tore off the top layers of my skin about an inch and a half long. To stop the bleeding, she put a topical on it that burned so bad I thought it was nail polish remover. My skin actually swelled and bled from underneath. 4 days later, I'm left with an open, swollen wound and I'm still not able to exercise or walk normal. Seriously, the worst experience I've ever had. And on top of it, the room was dirty.

Painful and scars. Not happy. I have had several Brazilian's and this was the worse. The technician seemed to be in hurry as if she had to catch the last train for the night. She did not ask me about my skin or have me fill out a form regarding allergies, skin type etc. (Red flag) My experience has been if you have not been in for a while that the technician will use scissors to trim you down. Nooo... she proceeded without trimming and wondered why the hair was not coming off. Stating she had never had this happen before so she went over and over again which made my skin raw. She then said that she put too much wax where the airplane strip goes and that she could try to fix it or take it all off. That is not what I wanted! I don't like the little girl look and neither does my friend. She then left and got the manager who was very professional and pleasant and used smaller strips and took the hair off in smaller squares. But this means that she is going over the entire areas again. (SCREAM) I have never walked out soar and i felt my wax in the morning. Normally , by the time I leave the spa I feel normal. She also used a cooling cream that did the opposite....set me on fire. My skin is sensitive but they did not know that because they did not ask any questions about my skin type. I was sweating during the process. I just can't recommend and was disappointed with the service and had a totally difference experience than the previous reviews.

Best Brazilian. I have had Brazilain waxes before, and sometimes it can seem a bit nerve-racking ((I'm going to take my pants off for someone to rip my hair out... ok)) Anyways, the lady I got at Mitazi was a very attractive young lady. I went in the room, she told me what to do... left for my privacy. The Brazilian was so fast, she was hilarious. She had such a great attitude that it made getting a Brazilian waxing so comforting. I highly recommended this place for Brazilian waxing. Great price too. How can you beat that?

5 STARS!. I've known Mitazi to be around for more than a decade. I think the girls who work there are very well trained in their proffession. I can see why some people might mistake their shyness for being surly or rude. Most of the girls who work there are from Poland and you have to give them a lot of credit for working so hard and trying to better their English. I've found that the people here are truly genuine and they always try their best no matter who I go to. I also think the waxes here are one of the best in the city and I have never had a more perfect mani & pedi elsewhere. I've traveled all over the country at 5 star hotels and spas and the reason I come back to Mitazi is because of their great skills they possess in their trade. The salon has a very cozy eclectic decor and I think all the women who work there are absolutely gorgeous inside and out.

definitely mixed. I have been to this nail place more than any other (which tells you something), but after reading others' reviews I am compelled to give mine because I feel the reality is somewhere in between the one-star and five-star. It is TRUE they give great manicures, their polishes are great (can't speak for the other products like lotions, those might be sub-par). But your nails look EXCELLENT after leaving and will last a long time. It is also true that the girls working there are quiet at best, and surly at most. There's kind-of a trendy-clicque thing going on there. The girls seem like they need to be impressed by you, otherwise they don't communicate with the customer. There is one very friendly woman in there (Anna), the others seem depressed, preoccupied or just sad. But, as I said, I go back b/c you're in there for a mani/ pedi, not a happy hour. One note on waxing - they are fast and good at waxes, but it's true this experience lacks sanitary measures. I probably wouldn't recommend the waxing.
