There's no reason to live with bad hair!. Ann Riordan is a professional in every way that matters and some! She listens, she asks questions, she discusses your hair and your lifestyle. Ann makes sure that you look great leaving the salon, and continue to look great when you're out on your own. Her work is her best advertisement. You look good, so she looks good.

Do Zoo is intimate, cozy, friendly and you are pampered even when you're a first-time customer. This reminds me of their first time customer discounts! If you're a student, there's even a discount for you! There's no reason to live with bad hair, when Do Zoo is there to help!

They're even dog-friendly!

Say No to Pretense, Say Yes to Do Zoo. I don't like going to your traditional hair salon because it can be loud and full of pretentious stylists who tend to be in a rush for their "next client". Do Zoo is different. They have managed to find qualified, professional stylists that seem to love what they do. I have never been rushed by any of their staff. They appreciate your business and want you to feel comfortable without too much of a fuss. The atmosphere is calm and focused on giving you what you want. I recently came in for a coloring treatment by one of their stylists, Ann. She asked me if I wanted something to drink, asked me what type of color treatment I wanted then explained all of my options. I decided to go for something semi-permanent and the color turned out gorgeous! She gave me some advice on how to style my long hair in other ways besides a pony tail and engaged me with her warm demeanor. The salon is accessible by public transportation so I will definitely keep coming back.

Try this 4 chair salon and see how long you want to linger when you are done. Ann delivers!!. I am not a hipster. What I need is someone to give me a cut and color that is age appropriate. Ann knows how to make me happy. Ann offers a glass of wine, a friendly ear, and a style that makes me happy every time. People seem to hang out afterward. It is obvious she loves what she does. Try this 4 chair salon and see how long you want to linger when you are done.

Awesome style and awesome environment!. I went in without expecting anything but just another ordinary haircut....I walk out with an awesome one! My stylist Whitney is awesome in designing what hair fits me after listening to my opinions...since I really want a change but was worry it would turn out to be too dramatic, Whitney did a cut just right, I was so glad that I went for this cut and now everyone is complimenting my hair!! Definitely recommend!!!

great conversation, amazing style. I had an appointment with thier newest stylist named Whitney. Not only was she great to talk to in the chair (sometimes it is awkward to have a conversation with strangers) but she also made sure that i was completely satisfied with my new do. She made sure that my hair was ready to go out that night. I didn't have to go home and style it or anything before going out with my boyfriend. In addition to this experience, I have to say that I was really pleased with the whole salon. Everyone was really friendly and openly conversed with everyone else in the salon. I loved the fact that it felt like being in a neighborhood salon that I had been going to for years but it still had that urban, high class, look to it. I will definetly be going back!

Whitney is awesome. I had a cut and color done by Whitney yesterday and I do believe this is the best, hottest cut and color I have had in a long time. This was my first time at Do Zoo Hair Parlor. She married a fabulous cut with an advanced color technique resulting in absolutely stunning results. This is Hollywood hair in Chicago for sure!!! I am going to enjoy this cut and color very, very much.

The salon is friendly, comfy, and totally unpretentious. I actually enjoyed my time there rather than getting my hair done just being a chore. The staff is super friendly and helpful, while maintaining their own interesting personalities.

All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend the salon and especially Whitney to anyone.

WHITNEY is great!. Best Hair Cut and Color EVER! I went to Do Zoo last night for a cut and color and left feeling elated. The staff there are all great and it was such a fun environment to be in. WHITNEY, who is new to the salon did my cut and color and it came out amazing. I do not usually color or cut my hair very often, so Whitney gave me something different, but not too drastic. She knew exactly what I needed to update my look for fall and improved my hair by %100. I love her, she is so great and I would recommend anyone see her. Great job Do Zoo!

Efficient, professional, and personable.. Ann Riordan has consistently colored and cut my hair in less than 2 hours. My time is precious and Ann knows how important my time is. She is rarely running behind and makes an effort to be efficient yet quick. I highly recommend Ann. She is very professional and loves what she does. It shows in her work.

Ann Riordan has a new locale. Ann Riordan has been doing my hair for awhile. She used to do my "do" at Molina Molina salon on Maple in the "Gold coast" I still reside there but had to follow Ann here. It's hard to find someone who listens to your needs and I believe we have really good communication going. I am not easy to please.I wasn't sure Her move would be a good thing. She moved a little north and west. This is such a great neighborhood with a lot of handsome boys. I won't have a problem now. Great place to people watch. Look at her reviews from Molina Molina and you will see all the raves about her. The do zoo has an odd name but I felt like I was visiting her home, quite cozy. You will enjoy her kind soul and wicked sense of humor.

comfy ,relaxing, reasonable, and fun. Ann Riordan just moved here from Molina Molina salon. What I have seen so far about the salon I love. Very Zen and Feng shui. The colors are neutral and it feels like you are in someones parlor/livingroom. Ann's personality is enthusiastic yet she listens to what you desire. She won't talk you into something you don't want and you buy retail only if you want it. I didn't want to leave when my haircut and color was finished. I felt right at home. Maybe the glass of wine and continued conversation made me stay. Ted the manager had me cracking up and the receptionist is Ann's sister. I don't know if I could work with my sister. Bottom line, I shall return to Do Zoo for good conversation and a great haircut and color at a reasonable price.
