Helpful staff and good prices!. "Just opened a brand new photography studio and didnt have a big budget to spend on backdrops. Ordered a candy stick and a floor and recieved them in a reasonable ammount of time and was shocked on how nice the quailty was for the price. Once i got my package in there was a flyer in the box about there monthly photo contest and had a few question so i called them up and spoke with john who was very helpful and answered all my questions. I hope my buisness does well because i want to order some backdrops. My only wish would be that there new catalog was out already but when i spoke with john he said it wouldnt be out till next month."

Can't get enough!.
Have been ordering from Backdrop Outlet for the past 5 years after I started my Photography business and have always been pleased there prices are always very competitive and there products are always up to my standard for quality. I recently ordered there new Titanium Cloth 5x6 and was very happy with it the style was really great and it shipped 2 days after I ordered it. Without rush shipping I got in 5 days after I ordered it which was amazing! It seem they are getting faster with there shipping time since last time I ordered.
Overall I like this store a lot and it has helped me really expand my business at a low cost. I wish they would have never moved from Chicago but what can you do
wrost Company ever. Second time the do the same. first time may be anybody could have a little dificulty but the secontime they are bull@$%%^ you. in feb 4 2012 i order for the second and last time. as soon as i placed the order i send them an e-mail stating that i need both products by the 17th. no body responded to the email. on the sixth i called them they stated there will be on time.here is to day march 8th and still half of my order still has not arrived. this company realy s......ks.
Great Selection. I just started in photography and this place has so much stuff! I wish I could afford most of it but luckly they have a closeout room which is where i have to spend my money but once my company gets going I hope I can get some in season stuff.
Two Thumbs Up!. Backdrop Outlet has amazing products for extremely low prices. Their website is extremely easy to use, but if you do have a problem they have a great customer service department where you can actually talk to a real live person which is extremely rare these days especially for a primarily internet based business. Their staff is extremely helpful and knowledgable about the products. I especially love their platinum cloth. It's a very good quality product that comes in so many different styles!!!
Best and most reasonable photo source in the U.S.. Having dealt with Backdrop Outlet for many years, I find their products and service to be extraordinary. If I got someone on the phone that did not give me the service, I asked for another person to help me and was always left satisfied and their prices on backgrounds, props and lighting products were the best in the country. Love this company......
Love this place. I love this place. I have improved my portrait sales because of the great backgrounds and props I have bought from them. They have some amazing sales.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.
I rarely complain or take the time to post negativity into the world, but this has got to be the absolute worst company I have EVER dealt with.
About a year ago I placed an order... they charged my credit card for the whole amount, but didn't ship part of my order. I emailed, and called, and emailed to find out when I would receive the (rather large) item. I was told it was now out of season and I could expect it in about 6 months. WHAT? Long story short, they never did refund my money.
Another item in that order came damaged. I called to report it and they promised me a replacement... which came NINE MONTHS LATER. Again, it was "out of season".
Now, STUPID ME, just placed another order for a small tapestry couch which came split in 2 places. I emailed them, it took them 2-3 days to get back to me, and now I'm told because I'm outside 21 days (today is day 22) I have to PAY to ship it back to them in order to get a replacement. A piece of furniture. Are you kidding me? I am SO done with this company... they have great items, a great selection but oh my GOD their service is as horrendous as it gets. STAY AWAY!!!!
