Carne Asada the way it's supposed to be. When I want good tacos and I want to stay in the neighborhood, I head over to Taqueria El Asadero. Their carne asada tacos are one of the best that I've had, and the only thing missing from Pilsen and Little Village competitors are lime wedges. I usually take mine home so it's not an issue. The seasoning and the quality of the meat gives you a flavorful and juicy taco.

If you like Al Pastor, again, theirs is one of the best. I've had some good Al Pastor, but theirs is always moist, as is their chicken tacos.

If you go there frequently, and dine in, you'll notice the casual interaction that often occurs between patrons. Overall it's a friendly atmosphere, and I've even been offered a seat and some of another diner's food while I was waiting for my take out. Now that's pretty friendly!

worth trying, very good at their specialty. Its not nice, it is basically the same crappy lobby as every decent hole in the wall mexican place I ever have been.

and yet still I go here all the time. The food is good, and I'm eating tacos, not French californian cuisine. I have brought my entire family here. the food is good, the guys behind the counter are no nonsense but friendly and they do one thing and they do it well, which is make a mean carne asada and put it into tacos and burritos.

Its salty, its greasy and its great. everything is made to order. and cheap as well.
