Glazed Expressions

Paint pottery to your heart's content at this colorful shop that celebrates creativity.. The Scene
Creative souls pick out pieces of pottery to paint and the store will glaze and fire them for pick-up a week later. An hour of studio time is $8 for adults, $6 for children, plus the cost of your piece. The studio fee includes the glazing and firing, the use of all tools and paint, instruction and staff clean-up. A reservation in the 50-seat studio is suggested for groups of six or more.

The Goods
There are over 70 different colors, bumpy and texturized, or speckled non-toxic paints to choose from as well as at least 75 different pottery objects. Select bowls, mugs, platters, plates, ornaments, teapots, picture frames and more. Items can be special ordered if they aren't available, given a week or two advance notice. Once the pieces are glazed and fired they are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and food safe.…
