Nookie's is a very appropriate name for this breakfast joint where lovebirds from Lincoln Park indulge in pancakes and eggs on Saturdays and Sundays after too much of the namesake the night before.

This spot remains blissfully no-frills as the 'hood turns upscale. Go for sweets, such as the seasonal pancake trio, & don't forget cash.

Very good solid breakfast. Much better than most of the so called neighboorhood places. Many different choices for breakfast with seasonal frittatas being my favorite. Long time working staff shows attention to details. Sometimes crowded, especially on weekends mornings.

nookie's breakfast. Went on a Sunday morning, first time. Food was great service great. Go early gets crowded and waiting area isn't that big but well worth the wait. Try the Apple cranberry Pancakes very different but also very good!!

Nookies is my favorite. I visit Chicago about 3 times a year and I always eat breakfast at Nookies. It is small but comfortable and cozy. The staff is very friendly and service is fast. The breakfast is absolutely delicious!!!!! I recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago and it is a very short cab ride away from the Magnificent Mile. You have to try it once. You will have a hard time choosing what to eat off of the menu. Everything is sooo good. I've ordered something different each time I've visited and I haven't had a bad meal yet.... worth the visit.

We've visited Nookies a few times and the food has always been very good!!

Best Breakfast. While Nookies has slightly above-average service, they have great food at very reasonable prices. My wife and I have never had a bad meal while dining there. Very warm atmosphere and family oriented.
