In Short – The popular way to take your bagel at this Lincoln Park eatery is via sandwich; with dozens of selections available, you won't complain about not finding one to suit your tastes. Sandwiches are steamed to keep bread chewy and ingredients moist. Nods to Chicago 'hoods include the Ravenswood, made with roast beef, cheddar, horseradish, lettuce and tomato, and the Wrigley Fielder, featuring veggie spread, havarti, sprouts, onion, green peppers, tomato and avocado.
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- All sandwiches are steamed; toasting costs extra.
- The Extras:
- Extra hungry? Sides include soup, potato salad, slaw, chips, crackers, bananas and desserts.
steamed to perfection

This neighborhood gem has one of, if not the, best bagel sandwich in the city. The bagels are stuffed with lots of whatever you want and steamed to a soft, melty, goodness. The only problem is the huge amounts of people that tend to pour into the place during peak hours. But since there is no line to wait in, it doesn't seem so bad.
- Pros: food, service, speed
- Cons: building size
