Fantastic Wings. I go here for the wings alone - everything else is a bonus!

Best Wings in Chicago. Without question, the best wings in the City of Chicago. This is the only place in the area that gives Buffalo Joe's in Evanston any competition.

Worst Bar Ever!. This bar was probably great 15-20 years ago when it was last updated. Now it is a dank dingy crap hole. The bar pretends to be a neighborhood sports bar but it is really a crappy dirty hiptster bar that plays its music so loud you cannot hear the person next to you. The staff is lazy and non-responsive. I have been there a few times. Once it took 40 minutes for the three of us to get our lunch and we were the only people in the bar. The food is ok at best and the beer is expensive. If you are looking for a slow service and overpriced beer with an awful atmosphere go to the Bird's Nest. If you are looking for a bar that gives a crap about their customers go north one block to Crossings bar and grill on Wrightwood and Southport

Wow!! Tell us how you really feel. We have been here for years so we must be doing something right. We're sorry our bar is not for you, but we do in fact care a great deal for our customers. Sorry you had a bad experience with our service and kitchen, but we have listened to our customers over the years and have put on a great deal more staff to achieve better service. All of our food is made from scratch and we usually receive compliments. As far as our updating our bar, we have, but while doing so have tried to keep the darker warmer tavern feel. If you looking for a sterile type environment, then yes Crossings is your bar. It is a great place and is owned by a good group of guys who know what they are doing. They have the bars to prove it. I must say however their beer and liquor prices far exceed ours. It has not been easy, but we have not raised our prices in years. If you would like to give us another shot, let us know and we'll buy you a beer and make it right!

Grab a beer or the open-mic spotlight at this neighborhoody Lincoln Park lounge.. The Scene
A clean-cut college crowd comes here to hang, watch a game, play a few rounds of eight-ball and grab some good bar grub. The back lounge is roomy but intimate. Its old wooden interior and bar are beautifully preserved, while modern light fixtures add an up-to-date look.

The Draw
Chill with a swig of any of a large variety of domestics and imports, bottled and on tap. The food menu is also a cut above the usual bar fare; choose from a selection of wraps, quesadillas, burgers, chicken sandwiches and more. The bar hosts a weekly open mic night that attracts everyone from solo country, folk and blues acts to four-piece punk bands. Not a bad place to hone your chops, even if you've never sung in public before. (This audience is usually too polite to heckle.)

Cool place. Went one night to see a friend's band play and was really, really impressed. Had no trouble finding parking in the area, and I was there on a Thursday, which meant great specials on beer and 10cent wings, which were good. This was a comfortable place, not too crowded, with an overall good and friendly staff.
