Editorial Review for Lincoln Station – by Meghan McEwen
The Scene
Bright, contemporary international prints and a vibrant, cubist mural adds both color and sophistication to this spacious, unpretentious hangout. Deep red and beige walls, accented by candle-lit tables, comfy booths, beaded hanging lamps, and heavy, patterned drapes create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The Draw
Like any respectable sports bar, TVs are not for want--a big screen commands center attention in the front room, and a monitor can be seen from anywhere in the bar. Not interested in what's on the tube? Three mahogany, red felt-topped pool tables dominate the second room, and two Golden Tee video games are rarely unoccupied. Don't skip the above-average pub grub--apps, soups, salads and sandwiches--especially the enormous stuffed potatos. Create your own overflowing spud with an assortment of cheeses, veggies and meats.
