“The location and 24 hour service are great for the late night Clark Street crowd The food is just average.”
“This is THE best hotdog in the city, bar none.”
“Gotta love their char-cheddar burgers.”
“Tons of fun and a great place to take unsuspecting out of towners!”
“Good Hot Dogs, horrible service”
“The Wiener's Circle is just on par with many small Chicago dog stands that put out tasty, greasy, cheap eats, with the entertaining flair of customer/counter-help repartee”
“expected THEE BEST hot dogs in Chicago with fries that were nice long "finger sized" and not overgreasy, but NO!”

You'll be scarred for life by the insults the staff slings at you (seriously, my friend remembers his first time at Weiner Circle when he was a child for less than glamorous reasons), but you'll be charmed for life when you taste one of their glorious hotdogs.

A classic late night spot in Lincoln Park -it's a party atmosphere after midnight.
If you come during the day for lunch or a regular-time dinner, you won't get yelled at as much. Just be sure NOT to order ketchup. And get the cheese fries.
Interested viewer. I've live n chicago all my & I hadn't heasrd of the weiner circle until I seen. It on the travel chanel which intrigue me to pay a visit. I'll definetly blog once I have visited..
tv review. im going to give them a try this weekend I from chicago and never heard of this place I saw it on tv I'll blog again once I had the food
Good Hot Dogs, horrible service.
I know that part of the charm of the place is the horrible service, but when they get abusive, that's not cool. The food isn't THAT good.
The food is OK, but its the experience that's fun. Just don't get it personally when the staff is rude!
Funny. I have never actually eaten the food from here, but I love going. Going there after a fun night at the bar is the best. I would recommend this to new comer in the city!
the best flameboiled burger u can have. this place made get up at 1am and take the bus up there and get my fix of beef the best i've ever had and they make it like u like it and the cheddar fries are in a catagory by them self but it can be a little pricy so go and enjoy

Best Dog and Fries in the City. Husband and I tried this Clark St. stand, and keep going back when in the city. We've tried a few other hot dog stands, and always come back here. Their menu is very simple--not lots of confusing choices. The fresh-cut fries with cheddar on the side can't be beat, with the fries nicely browned. One order is plenty for two. The hot dogs are Vienna and perfect. I like mine charred with everything. Husband has had the burger, and reported it as very good. We've never had any problems with the staff, but as it gets later into the evening, language and manners get rough, so expect it and you'll be fine. Some inside seating on stools around the perimeter, and outside tables. The place looks quite dingy, but we've never minded. We go for the food.
probably more fun when your drunk at 4am. I've only gone here twice. It is ok. It is probably better drunk at 4am. I don't like being treated poorly so I don't say anything other than my order. They got the message and moved on to the next person. The drunks seemed to like it. If I was drunk in Wrigleyville I would stop in.
