Editorial Review for Lalo's Mexican Restaurant – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Awash in loud oil paintings of sultry senoritas, pottery, plants and assorted bric-a-brac, this place has festive appeal. Latin-flavored pop blares as after-work diners call for one more pitcher of 'ritas. The appetizer platter feeds three and features nachos, quesadillas, tamales and flautas. Camarones empanizados (breaded shrimp) are enlivened by zesty sauce, and carne asada zamora (steak with refried beans) is hearty and filling. Drenched with milk, sumptuous tres leches cake is a perfect finish.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. It has it all. A great atmosphere for friends, families, and couples. They have a wonderful bar. The food is always on par. And most importantly, the service is ALWAYS exceptional. The drinks are on the expensive side but splurge once in a while. I promise you will only need one margarita.
Pros: service, food, atmosphere
Cons: parking

What can be better than a delicious margarita the size of your head? Dancing with a mariachi band while you drink it! Whether you stay in the bar area or sit down for some dinner this place is great for dates, families, or friends. Good food but even better is the drinks and entertainment. Make reservations on the weekends!
Pros: Mango Margaritas, Mariachis, Great Food
Cons: Parking
