The Scene – Lincoln Parkers in comfy attire sit alongside DePaul's less adventuresome types, resulting in a neighborhood-meets-college-dorm appeal. I love this bar! Great drinks, staff and even live music on the weekends. Reasonably priced and hoppin on the weekends!

Of all the bars I've visited since moving to Chicago last year, Irish Eyes is by far my favorite! It's not pretentious or trendy...just a bunch of people drinking beer and having a good time. Yeah, it's crowded sometimes, but the bartenders are cool and Whitey O'Day and Jerry O'Connell put on a good show on the weekends. You can't go wrong with dirty limericks!!

I can't say enough about a bar which openly honors the draft mugs of a rival Lincoln Park bar and is proud of it. Go on mondays, but stop by Parkway on Fullerton first and buy a mug for the $.50 drafts that makes this place so great. The music is great, the bartenders are too and so are the friendly door staff, who will get to know you by name, overall one of my favorites.
