intimate place to listen to awesome blues. this place is small, went on a Sunday and got a seat and was treated to an awesome blues band. staff was friendly and there was parking on the street. they have a nice selection of drinks, nice wines by the glass, champagne, and coffee drinks. with the cover I also got to get into Kingston Mines across the street. good nite to get your blues on. highly recommended

Lincoln Park club with some of the smoothest music in town.. The Scene
One of the most wonderfully intimate blues clubs on the North Side presents live music of only one variety 365 days a year, as it has since 1979. Now the neighborhood teems with young moneyed professionals, and there's plenty of nearby competition for the blues buck, but B.L.U.E.S. still thrives. There's a delightfully relaxed and friendly feel to the spot, with a long bar running along the right side and some seating on a riser to the left.

The Draw
The sound system gets the job done quite nicely, though more than one pianist has been known to gripe about an old upright that goes out of tune every now and then. Drink prices and covers are surprisingly inexpensive, and service is great. Since street parking is virtually nonexistent on Fridays and Saturdays, the club offers weekend valet service.
