“We spent $1500 for the group to ride in the parade on trolleys, have all we could drink and then a full buffet of cornbeef and the fixin's.”
“mean, how can you beat paying for a yummy surf and turf dinner on Tuesday.”
“Hog Heads is fun - and they have a lot of variety to so it isn't just the same old place every time you go.”
“Great burgers, great deals”
This bar kicks but. Great place to hang. Gets going around 8pm,however, I've been there for lunch and the food is GREAT!! (try the pizza or wings). The staff is hot!! The specials are the best I've see, live music is great, and did I mention the girls that work there are smokin! Stop in it's not the McDunna's of old. attend the St. Patricks Day party the have busses in the parade and the bar is great to hang in too.
A Total Let Down!. I organized a bachelorette party for the ST. Patrick's day parade with this bar. We spent $1500 for the group to ride in the parade on trolleys, have all we could drink and then a full buffet of cornbeef and the fixin's. It WAS HORRIBLE!!!! The trolley's were late and we didn't get to be in the parade, they made us pay for our drinks and there was no food as promised. To make up for it they brought out 3 cheeseburgers for 24 people...get real! This bar is poorly run and very irresponsible!
Open Mike Wed at HHS.
Great open mike for comics every wed at 9pm
Dollar beers and 499 Italian beefs
You won't find too many DePaul students here, just 30-year-olds hunkered down with pitchers and wings..
The Scene
Shortly after work, groups of casually dressed friends settle in at cocktail tables for a night of drinking and bar food. They're generally more interested in catching up with each other, tuning in to a sporting event or a shooting a game of pool than trying a cheesy pick-up. More than a dozen TVs, including some big-screens, share sightlines with historical and local objects covering the brick walls.
The Draw
Flirty female bartenders and waitresses in tight shirts serve a typical selection of domestic and imported beer and other spirits. The kitchen turns out an eclectic menu of appetizers, soups, sandwiches, pizzas and, after 6pm, entrees, though it's McDunna's wings--barbecue, spicy, teriyaki, Jamaican Jerk or "suicide"--that are notorious. The bar books bands that mostly cover hits from the '70s and '80s on weekend nights.
Hog Head hmm brew!. Great spot to trend out at! People place all the way, I've met many friends there, they all like it.
good time. Hog Heads is fun - and they have a lot of variety to so it isn't just the same old place every time you go. I like watching games there because the food is much better than the usual pub fare - and there is a large selection of beer. In addition, its fun to go there on other nights when you're not catching a game. I mean, how can you beat paying for a yummy Surf and Turf dinner on Tuesday. Open Mic night is fun, and the bands on the weekends are usually a good mix - especially when The Hacks play!
Bang for your buck!!!. If you're looking a good time out, this is the place to be. Hoghead's offers plenty of options without sacrificing quality. Great daily food & drink specials! Tons of televisions! Tremendous jukebox! Too much to list.
