“The staff is fun and friendly.”
“They are very helpful in gift selection, even if you don't have a clear idea going in what you want to get, and have a wide variety of unique gifts to choose from.”
“My favorite Chicago store!”
“Unique store, with great service”
No customer service!. I had a terrible experience with this store! I had such high hopes from some of the reviews that I read, so I made an appointment to get shoes, jewelry, and a hair clip. During my appointment, the lady I was working with kept leaving to help other people who had walked in. It was very stressful to try and hold her attention for more than 30 seconds at a time. I was finally able to put some shoes on hold, and I bought a clip, saying that I would be seeing my hairdresser that week, and I might need to bring the hairclip back if it didn't work. She said that it was fine. Then, when I went to bring the unworn haircip back, all of a sudden it was a huge, (and expensive for me) problem. These people don't know the first thing about customer service, and I wish I had never gone!…
Worst wedding experience I had.. I had the best experiences with ALL of my vendors during my wedding - except The Left Bank. I was looking for shoes, but made it very clear that I was still deciding and was buying the shoes with the understanding that I could bring them back. I was told - no problem, brides do this all the time, etc. However, when I went to return the shoes (that I never ended up putting on my feet even once) I was told they would only give me store credit. This was 3 days AFTER my wedding! Why would I need store credit to a wedding boutique?! So, strike one was LYING to me about the rules. Strike two was the way they handled it. The owner of the store was listening to our conversation but had her back to me the whole time and when she kept insisting they always say it is only store credit - she didnt even have the decency to turn around and say it to my face. She was reading her email the whole time. She was arrogant, RUDE and by far my worst wedding experience was at her store. I would never recommend anyone to support this rude, rude person. If they would have handled this nicely and apologized for the mix-up I wouldn 't feel so strongly about this but she was just awful to me and I would say - brides stay away!! Go to Erin Gallagher down the street for jewelry - they were amazing - or get your shoes elsewhere. Weddings are stressful enough without people like this!…
Finally Great Wedding Shoes!. After a long and exhaustive search from downtown to Schaumburg for my wedding shoes, this place has the best selection of bridal shoes in Chicago, bar none. Found a beautiful pair of silk wedding shoes for less than $100 and was willing to pay much more. Their selection of jewelry is amazing which made it more difficult to decide but I worked with a really nice salesperson who helped me make a perfect choice of earrings to wear for my wedding. This plase has the best wedding shoes in Chicago!…
Best Wedding Accessories.
After shopping to all the department stores with such disapointment, my co-worker told me to check this boutique out for accessories for my wedding and OMG...
I could have stayed all day looking at their unique gems, but needed to finally pull the trigger and make some decisions. The staff is fun and friendly. Bought beautiful silk shoes, a feathery fascinator for my updo and drippy earrings that I can't wait to wear. I would definitely recommend to all brides and in general to anyone wanting
to pretty things to wear!…
Best Place to find the wedding shoes of your dreams!!!. I wear a size five shoe, so when it came time to purchase a pair of shoes for the biggest day of my life I did not know where to turn. A person from White Chicago, where I purchased my wedding dress (best place to get a wedding dress) suggested I check out The Left Bank. There were so many choices of wedding shoes in one place, I did not know what to do with myself. After choosing a few pairs that I liked, I was informed they did not have my size in stock. The owner of the store had me put down a $30 deposit (which if I didn't use towards a pair of shoes I would have bought something else) and ordered the shoes in my size. To make a long story short and numerous differnt pairs of shoes that had to be ordered, I finally purchased my wedding shoes yesterday. The owner went above and beyond to help me find and order the perfect pair of shoes and when I wanted to give up, she kept me going! The owner kept me informed through email and not once did she ever forget about me (it took me about four months to find the right pair of shoes for my wedding). The customer service is beyond wonderful here and I highly suggest if you are in the market for a pair of wedding shoes to visit this store!!! And even if you don't need shoes, they have so many other wonderful things not only just for weddings, but just for fun.…
