Let me first get this out of the way, By far Weber bakery is on of the best bakery I have been too. I love to order birthday day cakes. But being a person of color I really do not feel welcome at that establishment.At first I thought I was being overly sensitive,but I am not. I guess I have a decision to make.

I love their little egg shaped pound cakes, they melt in your mouth!!! It is not Easter without them. Oh and don't forget the sauerkraut rye bread. If you want one loaf buy two, if you want two buy three and so on!!!! They are so good you will need more!!!!! For those of you that watch your waistline and splurge during the holidays.......get the best!!! Weber's is worth the splurge!!!!!

Best Bakery in Chicago. I have lived on the North side all of my life and now have been on the South side for the past five years. This bakery KICKS BUTT! Everything I have ever ordered from there has been fresh, and very tasty. Our orders have always been on time as promised and never forgotten. Their consistency is excellent. The fresh strawberry/cheese coffee cake is EXCELLENT! Their poundcake is of old world recipe excellence. You can tell these recipes have been handed down for generations. Truly worth the ride if you live on the North side and definitely the best around Chicago!

Strawberry Shortcake. I think that we arrived at this bakery by accident and we live in the neighborhood many years, well pretty near it. the Coffee Cake with Strawberries is awesome, Very fresh. I totally love it and will take it to anyones house when invited. I think it is a hidden gem.

best cakes. 1st time to write a review. We lived in Chicago 20 years ago. This was the only place we would get any of our special occasion cakes. As a matter of fact, when my mother remarried her wedding cake came from this bakery. My grandmother loved, them god rest her soul ! I especially miss the fillings thhat you can get in them! I really miss not having a good bakery where we live now!Your order was always ready when promised.

best cakes ever. Just try their atomic strawberry conoli half bannana fudge cake wow what a sensation. Staff especially friendly ask for Katrina she really knows how to treat a customer. It is always crowded but the staff get you in and out in minutes with everything you need, can't recommend a better place for all your bake goods. It will put inches on your waist if you spend too much time there.

wonderful bread!. I have grown up with Weber's as my local bakery. Everything available is great, but the cheddar and onion bread and the sauerkraut rye bread are the best.

Worth the Trip!. I live 8 miles from Weber's and it's always worth the trip! Their variety is awesome, but I have some old favorites. (Try the cinnamon rolls, THEY'RE HUGE!) It's small but the service is quick. Even if you need a sheet cake for work this afternoon, or just a loaf of fresh bread, Weber's will come through with something beautiful and delicious. One of Chicago's true treasures!
