Tips for Hai Yen Restaurant
Doesn't Recommend

Lot of money for no food..
My wife and I ate last week at Hai Yen. I order the spicy prawn. What I got was one prawn, way overcooked, and it provided two bites of meat. On top of all, they charge you $13.50(!) for it. So if you go, don't order the:
Tom cang kho tau. I'm not a picky eater and enjoy several kinds of food, but to me there was nothing good about it. Also, the presentation lacked. The lonely prawn was swimming on 3 pieces of lettuce, garnished by a couple of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. My wife started laughing and seemed to enjoy my sad dish, hahahaha.....
We started off by ordering seafood eggrolls. Those were good and worth the money. But the fact that we had to wait for 45 minutes for our food to come out didn't do it for me. Just a recommendation: don't go here. Oh, if you see the menu, which holds over a hundred dishes, seems a bit overwhelming. There are better restaurants in the neighborhood.
