“The salon has a very nice atmosphere.”
“Highly recommend him and I'll be back there in 6 weeks or so.”
“Everyone is friendly and I NEVER have to wait for my appointment.”
Charles is rock'n out at Salon 161 Downtown. I have followed Charles through his journey to find the perfect fit at a Salon. He has arrived at Salon 161 downtown on Michigan and Erie. He said that Natural Elements was a wonderful learning experience but he really missed the downtown scene. I thought I would pass this on to all his guests who where wondering where he went. I really think that Salon 161 will be the perfect fit, I know it was for me! I just loved the space and staff. By the way Charles goes by Jayce at Salon 161 since the one of the owners name is Charles as well. The number is 312-943-4122
Where is Charles??????????????.
Help - I just got a call that Charles has left Natural Elements!!!
Does anyone know where is he now working??? He is not only a wonderful person but the best colorist in the city and I don't want to lose him.
Please Post if you know where Charles went. I, too, had a wonderful experience with Charles and just learned he is gone ... please post if anyone knows where he is, he is one of the best.
Charles is the BEST!!!!.
I have been seeing Charles for awhile now and have followed him most recently to Natural Elements. He is the best colorist in the city! He always takes in consideration your skin tone and features when deciding on a color that is best for you. Every time I get my hair done with Charles people the compliments come in from both friends and strangers. Anyone looking for a stylist I highly recommend Charles you will not be disappointed.
Also Natural Elements is a great salon. Very happy with customer service they provide.
Hair Stylist Charles. I just moved to Chicago and found the hair salon "natural elements" on citysearch. The salon has a very nice atmosphere. Charles did a great job with color and haircut. He used three different colors for the highlights. The price was $275. I also liked the fact that he discussed the price with me before he started.
Charles Best Stylist. I have visited Charles at Natural Elements Salon (great place!!!) and I just have to say he is the best stylist ever!!! I would like to refer him to anybody who is looking for something extraordinary. He is very professional and silled to give you a fabulous color and style.
Charles for Highlights!. I went here for the first time last week on the advice of a friend. I have hair past my shoulders with blonde highlights and a base bump. Charles gave me just the right shade of "summer blonde." It's June now. Sometimes you and your colorist have different opinions on what the right shade is, but he got it just right. Not "white trash" blone at all. Absolutely none of the mousey undertones that I hate. I think he used 3 colors. Plus, Charles is a nice guy who I enjoyed talking to. Highly recommend him and I'll be back there in 6 weeks or so.
Consistently great service, great outcome, great atmosphere.
I have been going to the Salon for 4 years - Scott works miracle cutting and coloring my hair, Bashia provides manicures that leave my hands softer with polish that stays on, and Jordan provides makeup tips, wonderful brows and most importantly a line of face products which work miraculously well. The experience of getting my hair washed is bliss in itself, and I am always greeted with a smile and remembered from the last visit.
If I could give it a 6th star I would - I highly recommend the Salon and urge you to run, not walk for your next hair cut.
Great manicure/pedicure, great customer service, friendly and efficient!. I have been a customer of this salon for over a year and am always impressed with the courteous service and quality service. Basia gives me a terrific manicure and pedicure with my own personal kit she keeps for each time I have an appointment. I get a great haircut from Katie, and all within walking distance from my home in Lincoln Park. Convenience! Everyone is friendly and I NEVER have to wait for my appointment. A great salon experience!
take some caution. Before my stylist left Natural Elements, I was a big supporter of this salon, sending friends and family there. I really like the greeting staff (friendly, which is unique in a salon, in my opinion). After my stylist left, I went to a new person and my experiences from there went sour. This new stylist (Mary) was excessively enraptured with herself, looking in the mirror at her reflection rather than at your head... UGH! The job she did reflected this. I reached the final straw when I was 10 minutes late (my fault, yes, but called ahead of time to let them know and they said "no problem") only to find out they had taken someone instead who had come early or was a walk-in. OK, I understand business or maybe it was a mix-up, but they did not seem sympathetic in the least after I was a 2-year returning customer who had given many referrals AND my wedding party business ($$$$$). If my stylist hadn't left, this wouldn't have occurred, but it just goes to show you that the management isn't looking out for the tried and true. There are many stylists in the city who do a great job, so if I feel like I'm a cash cow, I'm moving on. On another note - Jordan (wax/ make-up) is very nice, sweet, and qualified.
