Great service. I've taken items to Sew Special Custom Tailors several times, and I have not yet been disappointed. They are extremely easy to work with, and do a fantastic job even with rush orders. They perfectly tailored a bridesmaid dress around my 8 months pregnant belly so it looked like a custom dress. I would recommend them to anyone!

Loved it!. Really good, professional help with selecting the right cut/fit for my prom dress! I brought in a picture of it and they made it EXACTLY like what I wanted, for cheaper :) Lots of color choices, really sweet staff, and quick [it was done in about 3 weeks!]. The dress turned out perfect, and the tailors made a few adjustments that made it fit really well! Totally recommend getting your dress made here!

Great Work!!. I have had Sew Special Custom Tailors do several projects for me in the past few months, and it has been by far the best custom tailoring work I have ever received! They go out of their way to make sure the work is done right and to my satisfaction, and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them without hesitation for all tailoring needs.

They also offer services to re-cover chairs, create custom cushions, etc. Because of the great work they did for me tailoring clothes, I decided to have them recover four chair seats and make a window seat cushion. The work was outstanding and I will look forward to having all of my future work done by the friendly people at Sew Special!

My Go-To Tailor. This is definitely my go-to place for tailoring. Whether it is a simple hem adjustment, minor repair or a complete overhaul and resizing of a tailored jacket, Sew Special does wonderful work. I no longer even bother to try the garment on when I pick it up---their work has been 100% every time. They have resized multiple garments for me (significant weight loss), tailored new purchases for perfect fit, and repaired treasured garments.

Mike and his mom are total professionals. I recommend without reservation.

Great Place for Tailoring.. I've lost a lot of weight and wanted to keep some of my favorite skirts. They tailored it to fit my new body perfect.

The service was efficient and polite. I RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT RESERVATIONS.

10 STARS IF I COULD. I lost 50lbs in the last year and have managed to maintain my weight. Also changed jobs and have to wear suit or sport coat daily. Mike and the staff at Sew Special have done a remarkable job "saving" my old wardrobe and custom tailoring inexpensive clothes purchased at consignment or Marshall's/TJMaxx. Everything I have brought to Sew Special has been done perfectly and expertly. No corners cut here (no pun intended) and the attention to detail and personal preferences is superb. Mike and his mother will offer their opinion, whether you like it or not. The advice is usually right on the money. In this economy, saving or recycling old clothes as opposed to buying new is more important than ever. Every dollar spent here is well worth it as you can't put a price on how good you feel when you look good and your clothes fit right. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

BEWARE!!!. Brought in a pair of pants that the hem had come out of - just needed to be re-hemmed in the SAME SPOT. They go ahead and LENGTHEN the pants by 1.5 inches for no reason and when I request that they return the hem to the original place, they then go ahead and SHORTEN the things! Should have been a simple request but now I am out $15 and 3 trips to that stupid place, had to undo the hem myself so I can bring them elsewhere to have the job done right - seriously?!

Fantastic tailors. Mike and his family were just wonderful. They took a wedding dress that was 4 sizes too big, redesigned it completely, fitted it to my body and did this all in the planned time-frame. They redesigned the dress from an A-line to a mermaid design. They made a goregous bustle at the back. They also made a collar with a bow as a little extra for my cat who will be in the wedding ceremony. If you're a bride-to-be with a dress that needs substantial changes - these guys were fantastic. I had shopped around for a tailor and many of the other tailors who were rated highly were not prepared to take on the challenge of redesigning and resizing my wedding dress. Great dressmaker who made me the perfect dress!. The staff and owners of this business are great. They made a beautiful dress for me out of thin air! Actually, the made it with a lot of silk chiffon and hard work. They had me come in for multiple fittings and even though they were always busy they made sure to give me personal attention each time I came in. If you want a beautifully made dress and much attention to detail you should go to Sew Special, but you should also expect to be a little patient. I will be back soon to have them alter bridesmaids dresses.

Great tailors. This is a wonderful tailor shop. My clothes always fit very well after they tailor them. The family is very knowledgeable about fit and is patient with customers, always listening to what the customer wants.
