ugh. I had a steak burrito. The steak was a gray color, and really squishy. The chips and salsa were pretty good.

Tasty and Comforting. This is a very simple restaurant, but it hits the spot -- it's the food equivalent of a bear hug. The enchilada platter is generously packed with cheese, beans, rice, sour cream, veggies, and tender meat (unless you have the cheese enchiladas, which are creamy delicious.) The service is just passable, but this isn't a place you go for the dining experience; you go because you're hungry, and you will be pleasantly filled for bargain prices. The only thing I don't like about the place is that the TV is always on, but I just sit with my back to it and enjoy my food. With all the bland, anglo-fied Mexican places out there (Chipotle, Burrito Beach), support a real neighborhood taco joint with flavorful, happy-making menu.

Good food for your buck but waitress she is not!. Ok, I have lived in the Edgewater neighborhood for years and the food has never changed. EXCELLENT! However, they need a waitress that knows what good service is. I was there on sunday and i had to wave down the waitress to get the check. The ordering is painless, the food is out quick and is oh so yummy, but please do not stop from heading in just because of the waitstaff. If you live close get take out, always works for me! LOL

cheap and ok. Good food, less than good service. The waitress sat down at another table and ate dinner, we had to interrupt her to get our check.
