What a great FREE attraction!. This is one of my favorites spots to visit in Chicago! Why would anyone living here not take advantage of this free zoo? FREE! FREE! FREE!. This zoo is amazing because you can literally be standing there staring at the animals and have the unique experience of seeing the Chicago skyline behind them. It's small, but you can definitely spend a few hours wandering around. The orangatung house is great, especially if you are lucky enough to go often, as they have had many births over the past few years and its fun to watch the progress of the young ones. The only drawback is the parking situations and the hordes of school children.…
