Beautiful cakes that taste delicious, too!. We recently celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary and got the most elegant cake from Rolf's.

Everyone at the party loved the cake and said the buttercream was the best they've ever tasted!

The cake was so beautiful, it was a centerpiece on its own. The staff at Rolf's was very helpful and knowledgeable. too. I will definitely order from Rolf's again!

Over priced and low quality - keep looking - you will find better else where. I'm not sure why there are any positive reviews of Rolf's. The cakes are not even of caliber you would find in the local Dominick's, Jewel or at Costco. If this is for a wedding, birthday or celebration that you are accountable for the quality, then you should spend a few more minutes searching online for a better facility. There are a number of very good backeries in the Chicagoland area and there is no reason to settle for a second rate (or worse) place like this.

AWFUL!. I recently visited Rolf's and was very disappointed. I bought a cake for a birthday and it wasn't fresh at all. They told me that the pre-made cakes were fresh and were not sitting around. Well, I definitely don't believe that! My guests didn't want to tell me, but i know they didn't enjoy it. It was very embarrassing. I would not recommend Rolf's.

A Sweet Piece of Heaven on Earth. This Patisserie is in a class of its own! I was not familiar with Rolfs until i was refered to them by the Hotel in which i recently got married. I went there for a "cake tasting " and the overall experience was divine and first rate! Both my mother and father were very well pleased with the undivided attention that we received. Their designs and cakes are phenomenal. The day of my wedding was pure perfection and my cake was impeccable. Not only was it ravishing but the taste was satisfying. All of my guests are now customers! Kudos to Rolf !!

Sugar is Sweet. I am a caterer, and very capable of creating my own pastries. I started using Rolf's for my larger orders just to ease my work load. Now they do all of my pastry orders, large and small.

Rolf's has everything from simple lemon bars to very detailed and elegant Cakes. I wouldn't serve anything less than the best.

HOW SWEET IT IS. I just recently got married last month and I received my wedding cake from Rolf's and it was absoultly what I was looking for. The wedding cake was beautiful. The cake was moist and delicious everyone loved it and I'm still getting compliments on it. The cake was very touching to me for when I was a child my dad and me would go to a special restaurant and order cake and ice cream. My wedding cake tasted just like the cake I had with my dad 10 years ago because you see my father has passed away and my wedding cake brought back many beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend Rolf's to anyone and start your beautiful memories.

Don't trust for wedding cake. Warning to all brides: you don't want to trust this place with your wedding cake. I ordered my wedding cake from them last fall. The cake tasted fine but the design was not what I ordered. When I tried to call and see if I could get at least some of my money refunded they managed to avoid my calls for weeks. When I finally got through to a live person she flat out refused to refund my mony. This is despite the fact that I remember seeing a cake similar to the one they gave me in their catelog and it was $100 or $200 less than the cake I ordered and paid for. Also, they told me that the frosting would be ganache and it turned out to be buttercream. I know if I pursued it I could force them to refund my money but overall my wedding was such a positive experience that I don't want to turn it into something negative. Just be warned: stay away!

Would NOT recommend for your one special day!. Recently got married and met with Rolfs staff "Which were great." We had discussed my wedding cake in detail. Wanted my wedding cake to be five tiers and boxes turned so they weren't all even. I had a Christmas wedding and wanted the cake to look like WHITE fallen snow. I even brought them a colored picture of what I wanted. Needless to say as I walked into my themed winter white wedding reception and all I could see is my bright yellow wedding cake. I was upset!! As important as your one special day is and you count on the venders to do there one job. You would hope they wouldn't mess up something as important as your wedding cake. Very disappointed and don't want anyone to go through what I went threw. DO NOT USE ROLF'S FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY. I found out the hard way they are not reliable!!

my favorite bakery. Hi-

I had recently just gotten married, and Rolf's had done my wedding cake.

It was the best ! the guests had loved it, and really made a lasting impression.

The people at Rolf's were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated the time and dedication

it took them to make my wedding cake. I have also gotten birthday cakes, pastries, pretty much

alot of their stuff for all occasions. The taste of their products are exceptional, and their designs

are very unique. It's definitely my favorite place.

Great cakes!. It's a little out of the way, but worth the drive. The cakes are absolutely delicious! They have a great range of flavors and the prices are very competitive. They usually have a good selection of cakes to purchase same day or you can preorder. You wont be disappointed!
