I order cake from the bakery for my friend's baby shower- $180 for 25 people! The decoration was good, but the filling was wrong- totally different, then the one i ordered, not very good also! I had to deal with them for two days, sending pictures of the wrong cake, to get $50 towards their store even though I paid cash! In the end they finally agree to give me $50 cash for the $180 cake that I get wrong!!!

Horrible and rude staff and zero customer service. If you need a special order, don't come here. We have been using Oak Mill Bakery for special occasions since our wedding 12 years ago. For my husband's 50th birthday, I ordered a specific cake, which I have ordered many times before. The day of the birthday, I went to pick up the cake and it was totally WRONG. What made things worse was the staff's screw you attitude - tried to blame me except the paper that the order was written on was what I wanted. I called the corporate office to complain and noone called back. Plus, the cake had to be prepaid since it was a special order and the gave me a hard time about refunding my money.

After 12 years, we will NEVER go back to Oak Mill. No customer service, horrible staff and can't execute a simple cake order when that is their business. Called Froggy's bakery in Highwood and they made the exact cake for me by the time I got there 45 minutes later and it was far better than any cake I have bought at Oak Mill. Plus they were professional and polite. They have gotten too big to be any good.

I recommend it!!!. AMAZING BAKERY! Just look at the website to see all the pictures! just eye popping creations to suit every sweettooth. Moist, delicious cakes, tortes and pastries - I have been to many weddings with their sweet tables... nothing is left at the end!!! Their cakes are super moist and come in a variety of flavors... not the usual pick of vanilla or chocolate and one type of buttercreme... i'm talking about i.e pear cake with glaze (#1 fave!!), raspberry ganache chocolate fudge cake, black forest cherry cake, cappuccino deliciousness... and so many more. The decorations are stunning and the Polish ladies that take care of everything... phenomenal! They have more than one location as well. I recommend it!!!

THANK YOU for all that worked on this and to the owner!!. I wanted to thank you and your team for all your hard work on the cake I ordered for my wedding. It was beautiful and added to the decor. It was so tasty that I now wished I ordered more than 300 servings because people complained that we ran out. I was also very pleased with how accommodating you were when I was making the last minute changes. Please extend our sincere THANK YOU for all that worked on this and to the owner of the bakery. I am so happy we chose you to make our cake!

The taste was Magnificent !. Thank you so much for doing such a fantastic job on our little boys first birthday cake!!!! His theme "The Mod Pod" was completed when his cake arrived at our home. The cake not only looked amazing but tasted magnificent! We actually had guest return the very next day asking for left over cake!!!! When my fiancé and I marry, our cake must come from you!!!!!!! Thank you again !

Pastry wonderland. The moment you walk in, you're in a pastry wonderland. They greet you and walk you to a little bistro area to sit down for your tasting. Basia, the woman helping us with our tasting, offered us coffee or tea, then gave us all our options of flavors we could try. Then she handed us about 10 different binders with photographs of cake designs they have done before.

High expectations. I have very high expectations when it comes to sweets and in my opinion only the FRENCH have this mastered and able to satisfy me but OAK MILL BAKERY is right up there!
