Overview
Formerly known as Comiskey Park, the new name comes with more improvements to the fan experience. In the early '90s, the Sox razed the original "baseball palace of the world" after 80 years of service and built the new version, complete with super-wide concourses, deluxe concessions, seats with cup holders, plenty of bathrooms and a sports bar overlooking right field. There's not a bad view in the house. The upper deck is steep (a 35-degree angle), with some seats high enough to view Lake Michigan.

The Experience
Helping to keep that old Sox spirit alive, some elements from the old stadium remain, including a look-alike scoreboard that lights up after home runs and a shower for fans in the bleachers.

This field is trash! i went here, and then vommited. The smell is terrible, i see r ,ats on the field during the game... Wait thats Ozzie Guillen! He is soo ugly and makes the stadium look worse, which it is already bad enough... But the sox are terrible, and i want my money back, i complained to Kenny Williams (the GM) personally. He told me to shut the **** up, i then cried, and on top of that i still had to watch the game. Do not take family/friends the fans get extremly.. well, horny during the game. They should sign Richie Sexson.. This field smells also like connies pizza, which i hate! Do not go there either!

Quite possibly one of the most modern ballparks in the US. I remember when the park was first built in the early 1990s to replace old Comiskey Park. Ironically, this IS and STILL Comiskey Park to me (stupid corporate sponsoring renamed and recolored the park from blue to black). Compared to Wrigley, this is considered to be the ballpark for the "New Generation", equipped with digital scoreboard, lights, and fireworks. It's easier to get to as well either via Red or Green Lines to 35th or finding on-site parking in their lots. The food is so much better than the North Side counterpart, and the history of the park and the 2005 Would Series Champions White Sox is displayed all over the park. On hot summer days, they provided a 'sprinkler room" to help cool you down from the hot sun. this is indeed the park for the "new Generation" of Chicago baseball fans and will probably be around well past Wrigley's time. GO GO WHITE SOX!!!
