Great Italian food.
I just moved to Portage Park 3 months ago and stumbled across Leona's. If you are looking for great Italian food this is the place. I have eaten their numerous times and have had great experiences.
This family-friendly Italian restaurant has kept Chicagoans happy since 1950.. In Short Wood booths, checkered tablecloths and an easygoing, laid-back atmosphere make this place popular for a young family's dinner out or a T-ball team's victory party. Service tends to be quick and a stack of pop culture trivia cards on each table makes the time pass. The large menu features thin-crust and Sicilian-style pizzas that can be done up with the bacon or hamburger standards, or broccoli and tofu. Other entrees include burgers, fried catfish and create-your-own pasta dishes.
