What People Are Saying About Jury's

In Short – It may look like another corner watering hole, but this place is actually much more restaurant than bar. In the main dining area, white-clothed tables with emerald-green chairs evoke the old Ireland of Jury's Hotel in Dublin (its namesake). Bar food's the specialty, with cheese sticks, onion rings, fried calamari and salads (plus Jury's offering of "the best burger in the city"). The dinner menu offers more substantial plates of pasta, seafood, chops and steaks. – –

Best Pub Restaurant In Chicago

Great place, great food, great service and all at reasonable prices! Daily specials (2 for 1 pricing, $10.00 and $12.00 entree night, Cheap Hamburger Night, 1/2 price wine list night, etc.) I'm here at least once a week and sometimes 3 nights and they have such a varied menu, I never get tired of going there. They DO take reservations for the day you're going there. Pete and Dan know the regulars by name and they welcome dogs on the outside patio (the enclosed patio is off-limits to dogs) during the spring, summer and fall, weather permitting. I love the butt steak (tender!!) and the bleu cheese Jury Melt. Excellent fish and great wines at reasonable prices. I've dragged all my friends and half of my condo building there and they all love it. If you haven't been there, you've got to try it. Canary
- Pros: Best combination of food, service and atmosphere...at a reasonable price
- Cons: Sometimes there is a long wait if you haven't called ahead to be put on the list.

Personal service, great burgers (try one with blue cheese, grilled onions, and mushrooms), extensive wine list, and a solid menu - all for a reasonable price.
- Pros: Burgers, Sevice, Value
Consistently Great!

I visit Jury's once a week, and always bring at least one guest. Even when the dining room fills up, the service is attentive and friendly. Every week the food is as delicious as it was the last time. While the burgers are the best in town, you don't want to limit yourself to just a burger! Also, the beer and wine list is so big, you can always find the perfect drink. This ain't snotty 'haute cuisine', this is just great food in a wonderfully cozy spot! (Expecially the back patio in summer!)
- Pros: Wine List, Daily Specials, Atmosphere
Great place!

I really like this place. The food is good and of course you gotta check out the burgers. Wednesday burger nite is REALLY big at $3.95 a crack so I'd recommend getting there b4 the dinner crowd as the wait area is REALLY small. This place has nice ambience too, having a friendly neighborhoody type feeling that includes accommodating wait staff and an owner thats usually there to greet you at the door. The restaurant is clean and they also chill the wine at exactly the right temperature, another big plus. Thumbs up!
- Pros: Good food, burgers, Friendly feeling
They know what they are doing.

It was Valentines Day 2003 and we had no plansor reservations. We called them and they got us in during the dinner rush. Not only was it busy but they were curtious, fast and made excellent food. I recommend the Portobello Mushrooms with Blue cheese appetizer and the second best Whiskey sour I have ever had (not to mention the second best Salmon filet I have had in town.) Thanks, we are addicted now!
