If you like darts, guinness, jameson, and all the sports in the world on tv....
...stop into Mulligans. The dart area is cool (and we were told possibly expanding), the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere as good as you can imagine for an Irish bar that serves regulars during the day and the Roscoe Village neighborhood that I've adopted at night. There's no food but you can order from a local place (Robey's, Costello's, Jimmy John's, etc.) and bring it in. Did I mention MLB games galore? I can't wait for NFL season - I was told they'll have the package. Without being said, I'll be spending A LOT more time here at the corner of Roscoe and Damen enjoying darts, guinness/jameson, and some football - Thank you Mulligans!

Dart-throwing, whiskey-drinking good times for Roscoe Village singles..
In Short
In this cozy corner tavern, a large bar occupies the west wall, with a few tables and chairs. Spend time here and you'll know that darts is king. Hard-core players hang out at the dedicated playing area at the rear, which contains several cork boards and score sheets. Patrons are mostly in their 40s, and by the looks of the hundreds of empty Jameson's Irish whiskey bottles lining the ceiling, they're good customers.

great pint of guinness.
Mulligan's first came into my life when I moved in across the street, and quickly became a favorite hangout, along with the Village Tap a few blocks down Roscoe. The two must-have drinks at this pub are Guinness and Jameson's Irish Whisky. Finish a bottle of the whisky and you can put your name on it (I know there are a few lining the walls with mine...). Mulligan's is also a good place to visit if you want to learn to play darts.
