Exposed brick, muted green walls and a chandelier made out of organ pipes set the scene for eccentric meets contemporary at this boutique. Timeless men's cardigans, button downs shirts, hats and vests occupy the front right section of the store, while playful women's wear along the lines of baby doll dresses, sweaters and skinny jeans take up the rear. A winding staircase leads to the vintage section, which is dressed up to look like a cool friend's cozy living room and closet. Here, more treasures beckon, including sexy secretary blouses and red vinyl suitcases.

Una Mae, I love you. Sure the store is pricey, but it's so worth it. Do what I do and wait for the sales. the selection of clothing and accessories as well as whatever other little things they happen to have is consistently impecable. I only wish I had enough money to shop there more often

I think I shopped there while I was in town at least three times, and I am not exaggerating. The cutest little store, with such a variety of fantastic, affordable, and stylish apparel. The boys working there were attractive, and they had the best summer dresses! I'm sure if you live in Chicago, you already go here, but thank God I did! 5 stars!!!

Una Maes Freak Boutique really impressed me. I went in while trying to kill some time and walked out with some cute clothes. They have really beautiful new clothing in the front of the store--although the new stuff looks like it *could* be vintage, but with a funky twist. There's also a modest second-hand section in the back of the store. It's obvious they're pretty picky about what they accept, and I found some really cute things. I tried on several second-hand items and a few new items as well, but the high prices of the new clothing was prohibitive to me and I ended up just getting the very reasonbly priced second-hand clothing. If you want to spend a little more money than the usual on a piece of funky, unique clothing, check out the front of this store. Otherwise, browse the used section in the back for some hidden gems.

Blank skinny jeans for women are a sell-out staple here. They come in a variety of delicious colors, from plum to electric red. Blowfish shoes, another popular favorite, can be found up front.

Gift ideas abound, from the recycled paper journals and Erica Weiner necklaces in the back case, to the Illume and Voluspa candles up front by the register.
