Average selection, friendly service. The staff was really nice to me and the prices are fair considering the quality of the shoes, but I just don't understand why people think they have a good selection. Most of the shoes looked the same the day I went in. In fact- it was almost like they inentionally had dozens of pairs of the same exact shoes repackaged over and over again with different prices.

This is as much an art gallery as a shoe-fetishist's wildest dream. Doorways lean at improbable angles. Gilt mirrors slant in asymmetrical frames. For 30 years, Canadian shoe sculptor John Fluevog has plied his distinctive craft in leather uppers and man-made soles. These shoes are the antithesis of cookie-cutter fashion.

The Goods
Needle-toed, slip-on flats, thigh-high platform boots with side laces and Fluevog's signature Angel soles. Many Fluevog shoes sacrifice function for fashion. Will you really be able to walk in 6-inch platforms?

best shoes in chicago. Selection isn't huge, but dang if these aren't the best pair of shoes i've ever owned. i've got a pair of angels (pretty straightforward, stylish), and i'm constantly getting complimented on them. if you're beyond doc marten's, these are the shoes to get. comfy and super-cool.
